"I’m very torn, I want to like this place so bad. The fireplace is great, same with their hours, and for bar food options in the area they have a larger and more interesting menu. But both times I’ve been there the service has been well less friendlier and less thorough then say in a dive bar. It’s not rude but it’s been very awkward and no one ever asked how my food was or even if I want to order dinner without having to try to make eye contact a bunch same with having an empty drink when it’s not busy, when paying $16 for a drink and $27 for food, which were both pretty decent and higher end things but even for just getting a beer and a burger I just would expect a little more warmth and it feels hard to justify."

"Lot of gluten free options! Fire place. Nice waitstaff. Right along the water. Someone else said a lot of things seemed watered down and I think I agree with them but I like soup-y kind of stuff so I enjoyed it. My friends didn’t like it at much as I did though. We arrived at 3pm with no wait. A lot of people at the bar watching the game. When we left at 5pm, it was full! So you probably need a reservation during peak times."

"Nice little spot walking distance to water. Best pork chop I've every had in my life. All of the food I've had there has always been top notch. The chef definitely knows what he is doing."

"Made reservations although we probably didn't need them. Service was quick. Ordered a fish and chips with extra tartar sauce. The fish and fries were good. It was everything else that made the meal unpleasant. First, the tartar sauce was liquid. Like they had some left over in a bottle, poured water in there and then poured it into a dipping cup. Truly was foul. The cole slaw had to be old. It was so gross. Then the pickles.. it was cucumbers that kissed vinegar for 10 min. I am thankful the main parts of the meal were good, but if you can't get the little things right, what's the point of having them on the plate to begin with? I wouldn't eat there again."

"Food and service was great. But they had this little table in the front for kids to get coloring books, crayons and lunchboxes filled with toys… I just thought that was the coolest thing. This is the first time my son hasn’t begged to watch videos on my phone and played the whole time. Such a simple thing to do but so cool and really appreciated."
