"It was my first time at 45 Restaurant, where I rented out their function hall for a surprise birthday party with guests in total of 50. Right from the very start of booking the staff there was top notch. It was smooth sailing from there. The two bartenders / waitstaff (Heather & Jess) were extremely attentive, sociable and fun. The buffet was outstanding and everybody raves about how amazing it was. I am glad I was told about this jewel in Medway. I look forward to attending there very soon. "Came here for my Dad's retirement dinner. It was really nice. Navigating the outside doors and which was the proper entrance was a little difficult. The waitress was rude a few times to my brother about drinks he ordered. Food was good, they set it up as a buffet."

"We hosted my son’s first birthday there. I was excited to host at a restaurant so I did not have to worry about cooking etc. However I was very disappointed with a few things. Firstly there was not enough food for my guests. The first round of food they quickly ran out of a dish and many of my guest stood there waiting for the staff to refill the tray. I stood there waiting as well because I was embarrassed and felt bad they are waiting for their food. Again this is just their first round. Many of them just sat down with out the food they were waiting for. The servers were slowly coming over to refill it by adding SMALL plateful portions and dumping it into tray. Maybe enough for one serving at a time. To me this is unacceptable. And looked extremely unprofessional. You think as an experienced restaurant they would have another tray in the back ready to go. Never did they once completely fill the tray with food. It seemed like they were not prepared for my event. Also one of the dishes I chose the garlic chicken was COVERED with pepper flakes and the guests were all complaining it was too spicy to eat. The salad also looked brown and a guest mentioned that to me. To be honest during the party I was stressing about the food situation and a few of my guests said I should speak to the restaurant. T definitely took away from me enjoying the moment and had me upset after the event. Also the servers who were working my event were very nice and I felt bad to keep complaining to them but they couldn’t keep up with the demands of the food and drink orders. Many of my guests were waiting a while for there soda and other drinks. Then when they put out coffee they put out a little pot for 50 people? Again people were waiting for coffee. And I was again waiting by the coffee embarrassed. I would have called the restaurant to have a discussion about my event, but unfortunately when I spoke to a manager earlier about a miscommunication regarding the set up time the manager seemed dismissive and talked over me so I figured it’s not worth a phone call. I would not personally host another event there again and do not recommend. And I’m sad because I had high expectations for this restaurant. My suggestion to the restaurant is to have enough food prepared and more staff to help for events."

"Very delicious food and great service. We tried multiple appetizers, mains, desserts, and drinks and everything was amazing. One of the best meals I’ve had in the area. I would highly recommend the mac and cheese balls, salmon alex, and carrot cake but anything on the menu is great. Our server was everything you could ask for- quick, talkative, friendly, and anticipative of our needs. Great place and we will definitely come back!"

"Enjoyed a great Mother’s Day dinner here with my husband and parents. Was pleasantly surprised that we were seated 30 minutes before our reservation time. Drinks were delicious- price was a bit steep - but things are going up now. Food was excellent and our sever was super friendly."
