Los Agaves Mexican Restaurant

"We have been looking forward to Los Agaves opening since we saw the sign put up some months back. We were not disappointed, it was well worth the wait. We moved from a crafty/foodie part of Washington state and have been disappointed in many restaurants since moving to New Hampshire, I consider myself a bit of a foodie at heart and have missed it. The lack of flavor or quality of many places has been a bummer. There are a few gems, but the level of quality and flavor isn’t so common here. This meal at Los Agaves was one of the most delicious meals I’ve eaten since moving here. We got the Los Agaves fajitas (the flavor of the sauce/drippings is amazing and unlike any fajita I’ve had before. It reminds me of the Swedish meatball gravy, but with a nice heat to it) and the delicious breaded jalapeño poppers to share between two of us. We left very full and satisfied. The food was fresh and we have no complaints about any part of it. The atmosphere is great, service is great, chips are good, salsa and white sauce served with the chips are great. We look forward to stopping in for drinks once the liquor license is ready. Having a restaurant this good near our small town is fantastic!"

"My boyfriend and I like to try new places in the area. We decided to stop in after work for dinner after hearing this place had recently opened up. Since it was 4pm we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The place is bright and spacious inside. We were seated to the right where there is a bar (they will have liquor license soon) tables, booths with ample seating. To start we were given chips with salsa and a white sauce. OMG the salsa was very good and spicer than other Mexican restaurants in the area. The heat was just enough for me but what I really loved was the white sauce that had this cool, lime, coleslaw taste to balance out the hot salsa. I ordered chicken fajitas and my boyfriend had Verdes enchiladas. He being a food snob loved the shredded beef deliciousness wrapped inside tortillas with tomatillo served with seasoned rice and side of guac. Both of our plates were a large serving and we devouring them both. The server was very polite and kept checking in on us. With the other small local and large chain Mexican restaurants in the area- this is our new favorite."

"Was excited to learn of a hispanic food spot close to home. Tried takeout today from this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised that it was tastey. From the looks of it, the restaurant itself is pristine with a relaxed atmosphere. It appears to also be run by authentic Mexican persons, which I was especially pleased about..no wonder the food was pretty delish!! I look forward to eating in oneday and hope a deliver option comes into play at some point.! Just next time be sure to pack the take out in a more secure fashion, my fajita juice engulfed the bag it came in, was a mess! Anyway, check the place out, doubt you'll be disappointed! "A very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is amazing. The menu is a refreshing blend of traditional and imaginative. The flavors, absolutely phenomenal. Do not pass up the opportunity to grab a bite to eat when you are in Fitzwilliam! You will not be disappointed!"
