"I have been a regular at the Bostonian for a few years now. It is a solid place and reasonably priced for the quality they provide. I used to go to a couple of different hairdressers on Newbury Street while paying twice as much I pay here. However, the quality here is similar or better depending who does your hair. I also noticed a diversity of the clientele here over the years and it is a great sign of their welcoming environment. I highly recommend this place and make sure you book on their site a few days ahead since they can get very busy."

Personally, I always go with Roy and I've always loved my cut from day one. I'm sure the other barbers are amazing as well but its hard to find one like Roy who kills it every time."

"When it comes to a haircut I only want the best of the best cutting my hair. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past, and I did a lot of research before I stumbled upon this shop. This shop has a lot of talent but out of all the barbers Roy stood out to me. I booked an appointment and tried my luck with him. Two years later I’m still consistently getting my haircuts by him. He is very attentive and profesional and he always keeps me looking great. I’m always getting compliments on my haircuts and I feel really confident leaving the shop. I highlight recommend him!"

"I don’t know where all of these bad reviews about Roy are coming from but I have been going to Roy since the beginning of the year and he has never done me wrong, he has always done exactly what I asked for. Roy is a great barber and a great guy also, I’ve gotten to develop a personal relationship with Roy just by going there and getting a cut. Overall a great barber, a great guy, in an amazing shop. Would recommended to anyone!"

"Roy did not want to be there. Asked for a low drop fade, showed him a picture of my last cut from my barber in CO, he barely looked at it, and then proceeded to rush through my cut, giving me a high fade that looks nothing what I asked for or showed him. He even said, halfway through the cut, wait, which way do you style your hair? Ended up with an undercut because of it. Here’s a shot of the low drop fade he gave me lol. Not sure if he just had an off day or what but he was also mad apathetic and seemed annoyed that I was there. Anyways, the shop seemed cool overall though. Maybe I just had a bad experience."
