"I tried to book a table at this restaurant since a friend recommended it but was turned down the first time with no reservation option available but a waitlist. We went on the waitlist the second time only to find out we accidentally cancelled our spot so when we got there and told them what happened they turned us down the 2nd time! Well we thought since we live close by the third time would be a success. But I should’ve trusted the universe arrangement and not bothered. The food was bland and the ramen tasted like it was made out of a box. The horrible service made the food taste worse. They make you order and then wait another 20 minutes (even though it says no queue on their website) just to be served a mediocre ramen dish. Don’t believe the hype."

"the karaage was soooooo good. juicy, unbelievably tender, all contained within a wonderful crispy-but-not-oily potato starch batter. served with a acidic soy based sauce to contrast. hope to see more people come through this place."

"'Open' but not currently seating for whatever reason even though there are empty chained off tables. This means that you need to sit at Ganko Ittetsu which is always crowded, even if you don't want ramen. Or you can order takeout from the hostess...but everything is 'out of stock'. Unfortunate."

"Limited selections of authentic Japanese street food located inside the Arcade building. Recently visited to try their okonomiyaki, but it seemed like their menus have changed. I ended up getting the traditional chicken karaage and gyoza, and both were very good. Karaage was extremely tender and they were certainly the best pieces I had in Boston. Unfortunately, this place seemed to be overshadowed by the popularity of the ramen place right across, but they are definitely worth a visit."
