"I came here 15ish years ago to put my favorite dog, Oscar down. It was heartbreaking because he was my world but the care and compassion the staff showed then was impeccable. It was the same for the recent dog, Rhythm. There was a ginger cat in the reception room that he sniffed and was friendly with, he played with our cats. One played back and the other one just ran away because he was too much for him. Heartbreaking but good experiences both times."

"My first experience here after a Google search for a Vet after 7PM on Dec 23. They were referred to after previous call to the other Vet down the street graciously explained they only do life threatening emergencies. Called Mass RI and receptionist listened and kindly asked if we can come at 9PM. My 7 yo male cat had somehow ripped out two claws on his rear left foot. We were treating it but were afraid of infection. We arrived before 9 and checked in. Staff was friendly and took our Info. Looked like only 3 other "patients " waiting. 9:10 got called into a room. Vet tech was friendly and engaging. Looked at unhappy cat and indeed he ripped out two claws.... Our pre-treatment was good but she offered some additional suggestions for future reference. We asked if antibiotics were recommended and she said she will take cat to vet for evaluation. Came back and were Offered the choice of long acting injection or try to keep clean. No pressure or Hard Sell. We chose the injection which we are familiar with, and it was almost half the price as our regular Vet !!!! Granted the ER fee was more than double a regular office visit, but that was expected on a Friday night two days before Christmas!! All in all good to know these people are here when needed. Our experience was very positive. Others may be different as some of the negative reviews state. For urgent after hours pet care I wouldn't hesitate to return."

"Dr Will was amazing.. Our son's dog was 20 yo. He was deaf, blind, had dementia and his back legs just didn't work anymore.. He was a Chug so very muscular when he was he was younger. My son had had him since first grade and he is now almost 26 and held him as if he was in first grade all over again as she he passed. They had gone through life together to this point. It was a tough good bye. They were excellent. I am an RN for 33yrs and specialize in cardiac and teach palliative care and hospice. We can definitely learn something about a peaceful, fast, dignified death from our animal health collegues. Thank you all so much! ❤️ - Nickie gonethrough life together to this point. The staff was incredible on the phone, and I person and Dr Will was so patient and kind, I explaining everything to my son who was losing his best friend."

"Visiting for out of state, my dog had an emergency. I brought her here and upon walking in the two women behind the desk had no interest in finding out what I was coming in for. I was just told they couldn’t see her as their caseload was too much - okay no problem. It was the way they said it is where I had a problem. Had no concern whatsoever as I am standing there with my dog wrapped in a blanket. Please show compassion for those who walk in - who view their pets as part of the family. Thankfully I went elsewhere where I was promptly taken care of by a lovely staff."

"I had an awesome experience. My vet couldn't see my cat for 3 weeks. This doesn't make me thrilled. I was given 3 emergency vets. But choose this one. They had a cancelation i went in for 8 pm.. They looked him over because he's been limping which i just could not stand it if he'd gotten hurt. They found no wounds cuts or a scratch on him. They took x rays no broken bones. They belive it could be strain on paw. They gave meds to give him for pain. I'm very grateful to you all. Outstanding care. Our animals are family. Thank you all"
