"I did a lot of research before choosing this office. I’ve been going to Dr. Sahani for about 4 years now and for a long time I was 100% happy with the service. The staff is friendly and gentle and didn’t seem to push unnecessary procedures on me, which was a problem I’d had with other dentists. I got a bill a couple of years ago for x-rays because I’d gotten them taken twice in one year. I raised this issue with the office, saying that it wasn’t fair for me to pay for x-rays when it was their decision/mistake to take x-rays at 2 subsequent visits. They waived the fee, which was great. Over the next couple of years Dr. Sahani told me I needed a number of cavities filled. I take extremely good care of my teeth—brushing and flossing religiously, brushing/rinsing after drinking coffee and consuming anything with sugar—so I found this surprising, but I complied and had them “filled.” A year later, he told me I needed more. One in particular was a tooth he had filled a year earlier but said it was on the other side (it wasn’t). Anyway, I believed him at the time because I could see a stain on one tooth, and scheduled 2 fillings. The day of the first, I paid $75. When I came back for the second (after the procedure) they told me I owed an additional $140 for the previous filling plus another $100 or so for the filling that day. When I said I had already paid for the previous filling, they said insurance didn’t cover “some part.” I asked why they didn’t tell me that the last time or why there would be unexpected charges and they said they would follow up with my insurance. I’ve called them numerous times and my calls haven’t been returned. I’ve called my insurance company and there doesn’t seem to be any reason for unexpected lack of coverage. And to make matters worse, the stain I could see on the cavity he filled remains. I have completely lost confidence in this office and I feel extraordinarily taken advantage of. I am giving this office 3 stars because my experience was fine for a while."

"We've been with Dr. Sahani for 3 years now and I've never had a better dentist. The entire staff (including Dr. Sahani) is pleasant and professional. They do pretty much soup to nuts in terms of dental work including routine cleanings, fillings, and I believe teeth whitenings as well so it can be a one stop shop for dental work. Travel here is also pretty painless as there are a few parking lots within easy walking distance of the office with quite reasonable rates. There's also metered street parking but if you prefer mass transit, the green line has the Kent St. stop literally across the street. Love the office and have never had any reason to complain to or about Dr. Sahani or anyone on the staff. They do fantastic work here."

"*Note: It says cosmetic dentist, but he does all dentistry, including regular check-ups. Not just cosmetics.* Dr. Sahani is an excellent dentist. Both he and his staff are very friendly and skilled. Every time I have gone for an appointment, he and his assistants made the experience very comfortable. In fact, they know me by name and even remember what I have told them since last time several months before! Their services are, of course, very skilled and professional. I have heard horror stories about other dentists, but Dr. Sahani is very honest and won't try to make you do things you don't want to do or don't think you need to do. He will give you a very professional and honest opinion. I highly recommend his services for anyone seeking a friendly and skilled dentist."
