"We got a great deal apparently on this place and it was absolutely phenomenal. MIGHT have even been just as awesome at full price, but I'm cheap. So, I would NEVER have opted to stay here at full price, but maybe. Sure, mixed review, but the place was WELL BEYOND fine!!!"

"Great location. Walkable to town and a block away from Bank Street Beach. We enjoyed our stay at the Kingfisher. You could tell it has been recently renovated with paint, shiplap an new furnishings. We booked the 2nd floor apartment with kitchen and deck for our weeks stay with 2 teenage daughters. We filled the kitchen with breakfast foods and snacks and dined out in the evenings. Beds were very comfy and plenty of room for the 4 of us to relax in the tv room or on the deck. We requested our room be cleaned on a few days and all they really did was come in and make the beds. It was fine by us. But it would have been nice to have the kitchen trash emptied and the room swept. I recommend adding a broom to the room, kitchen towels and some more hooks in the bathroom. The staff that we encountered while we were there were very nice. Overall we had a great time and will definitely book again. Keep up the good work!"

"This is the cutest bed and breakfast ever. It has a cute farmhouse look to it. It's right near the beach, walking distance. The rooms are a bit small but you're only in there to sleep anyway. I found the rooms to be clean and it's convenient that they have a mini fridge. I love how they supply beach towels for their guests. Their breakfast could've had more options, it got a bit tiring to eat bagels every single morning. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay."

"Just got back from a pleasant 2 night stay with my wife and son. I wanted to give this more than 3 starts but there were a few issues. The beach that is nearby is mostly closed off to the public and is not a great spot for young kids. Also, as noted many times on here, the breakfast couldn't be more underwhelming. Our bathroom also had some mold dots. There are many positives! The location is beautiful. The staff member (Avery?) who checked is in was very welcoming and full of information. It's walkable to a few great restaurant spots and a few minutes drive to plenty of kid-friendly activities."
