"Beautiful place right across the street from the beach. Great views from our room and from the porch. Friendly proprietor. Inn is about 115 years old but nicely updated. Several nice restaurants a short walk from the Inn. Great live music at the town shell the day we arrived. About 10 minutes to the bridge to the Cape. Onset Beach is a hidden gem. Great for families. In addition to the terrific beach, there is the canal cruise and a water park nearby. I don't usually visit the same place twice, but may make an exception in this instance. Only gripe was the rock hard bed."

"Really clean! I very much appreciated the ecological thought of the electricity which works with the card of the hotel room. The microwave and fridge in the room are very convenient. Ideal for a couple. The proximity to the beach is very pleasant. Finally, I found the owner super friendly! He himself led us to our room. Really warm ;)"

"Shhhhhh…The South Shore never seemed so private! If you seek the feel of being near the Cape, however have the desire for privacy, quiet evening beach walks, and excellent mini-adventures, like an inexpensive 2 hours Sunset Cruise & a variety if reasonably priced restaurants within a 3-5 minute’s walk of your hotel room…The Inn at Onset Bay has it all! Nothing fancy, however everything is perfect! Noting: Not all rooms have a view of the Ocean, which is right across from this historic hotel…be sure to ask for what you want and you will be happy with what they have waiting for you! All new interiors include a gorgeous bathroom and huge, romantic fireplace to add to the charm. Going back in a heartbeat!"

"This is a quaint little in where you’ll get a big bang for your buck. The owner Keven was very helpful when I called and forthcoming regarding rooms that required going up stairs without us even asking as well as helpful upon our arrival. The room was clean and most have a view of the bay across the road. We really enjoyed that it was in walking distance to the beach, excellent restaurants and the marina where you can take tours."

"The views at Inn on Onset Bay are undeniably stunning; however, the overall experience was average for me. Let's start with the positives. The Inn’s location is its greatest asset. Waking up to the tranquil beauty of Onset Bay was truly a treat for the senses. The sight of the sun dipping below the horizon and casting a warm glow on the bay's waters was a sight to behold. The balconies and windows provided fantastic vantage points to soak in the mesmerizing views. However, the interior of the hotel didn't quite match up to the natural beauty outside. The rooms were clean and comfortable but lacked the extra touch that would have made them memorable. Furnishings were a bit outdated and basic, and while everything was functional, it didn't quite exude a sense of luxury or sophistication. The hotel's amenities were also a mixed bag. The restaurant offered decent meals, but the menu was somewhat limited, and the service was inconsistent. In terms of service, the staff was friendly and accommodating. All in all, this hotel's prime selling point is undoubtedly its breathtaking views of Onset Bay. If you're primarily seeking a picturesque getaway with stunning vistas, this place might disappoint. And, if you're expecting a truly exceptional and seamless hotel experience to match the views, you might want to temper your expectations."
