"I feel that I should let others know that this is not the dentist to go to if you want professional and affordable service. In an extremely short period of time this arrogant and self riotous man managed to put me in dental debt of about $7000.00. I have witnessed him be abrupt and rude with not only patients but his employees as well. Only being a patient of his for less than 5 years he has managed to lose more staff (decent staff I might add...Franca and Jessica to name a few) faster than you can imagine. Funny when you ask him about the whereabouts of them he states "they became so difficult and we had a falling out and they walked out on me, but I did nothing wrong (famous last words about everything!).....Of course they walk out on him, he is nasty and yells at staff in front of patients. I have no respect for someone that does that. I had a crown placement in December 2018 and after placing the permanent crown he proceeded to keep shaving it down. Instead of maybe realizing the impression was not a good one because of course his dental assistant had also "walked out on him" so he was doing this solo, something that clearly needs 2 people. 2 weeks after that placement I was eating and hit a nerve which was a horrible pain I might add. He did have me come in right away to only repeatedly tell to not use the word nerve anymore in his presence because that was not the case. He did say that "maybe I made it to low, we can do it again". Are you crazy ??? No wait I would be if I had him do anymore work on me. Not the first time I have had crown work that I needed to repeatedly go back and forth for to have "adjustments". Also beware of his front desk staff she always tries to charge you for something even after he would say it was covered or complimentary. Of course it should be covered you just charged me a lot of money so you could screw up and you want me to pay again. They wouldn't give you a break if your teeth were rotting out of your face and he was the last dentist on earth. With him its all about the $$$$, they are not caring at all. I went to 3 different dentists and paid for all 3 to be told that he made the crown to low, it was flat and it had a hole in it. I finally found a caring dentist at Gentle Dental in Somerville who repaired it and took care of me. Needles to say I felt Dr O should have at least given me back my money. I even stated half would be ok since I had exhausted and re-exhausted my dental insurance benefits and now had to pay in cash (that included the new dentist also...not his fault though he did the work and needed to be paid). He refused and still thinks that he did nothing wrong and the work he did was fine during and after. I might add he insisted my boyfriend (a patient of his for 20+ plus years to also find another dentist along with dropping me as a patient). He isn't worth the time, effort or cost to try and be reimbursed he knows what he did and he can live with it. Maybe someday soon enough the American Dental Society can see how he practices because believe me this will happen again to another patient. Every dog has his day !"
