Bedford Plaza Hotel - Boston

"ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE FEELING DIRTY AND RIPPED OFF!! The service was atrocious between the creepy front desk man in the afternoon to the ignorant women in the morning. The owners are obviously disrespectful and ignorant to their guest. I come from an immigrant family and talking about a guest in their native language is their form of polite and courteous customer service when asking a question of the front desk. As a local professional who travels to the area weekly, I recommend the Best western which is only 15 minutes away and CHEAPER!!!! Very loud as the pool is in the center of the hotel so stay here if you like SCREAMING children! Very disappointed!"

"Booked a one night stay. Showed up walked in past many sketchy people hanging around everywhere employee was lounging in the lobby before he got up to assist us, he was very unfriendly and made me uncomfortable as well. We went up to our room and it was dirty, eerie, and smelled of cigarettes so we turned around and left. This is a sketchy sex motel at best not a real hotel. I was lucky I had my partner with me but I would not feel comfortable being in the building alone as a woman."

"Stayed here for one night. The pictures online looked very nice. The parking garage is super sketchy and very low. We checked in with no problem and the man at the front desk was very nice. The elevator was super sketchy and dirty. It reminded me of the elevator that girl disappeared from at the Cecil Hotel. When we got to our room, the key worked but we could not open the door. My boyfriend had to put his shoulder into it to basically get the door open. The light and outlet didn't work. There was a hole in the wall stuffed with tissue. The shades were broken. There was no hot water. And there was coffe in the room but no coffe maker. Breakfast was limited and not very good. There is however a Fantastic diner down the road that was much better!"

"Upon our arrival, the receptionist had to change our room because the one that was assigned to us wouldn't open. The second room was okay, except that the sheets were stained, and the pillow was wet, giving the impression that someone had slept on the bed. The next day, after a full day of walking, we returned to the hotel to rest, and to our greatest surprise, we discovered a pool party right in the middle of the main area, just outside our room. The noise was so loud that we had to go outside the hotel to make calls to Booking. We wasted 3 hours between the calls, discussions with the reception, packing our belongings, and moving to the new hotel because we didn't want to do what the other guests were doing—waiting by the roadside for the party to end. There was a lot of alcohol, a strong smell of cannabis, and people vomiting in the garage. We left quickly, but a week later, the hotel still hasn't refunded the agreed amount. A special shoutout to Ricky, the night receptionist, who was very friendly. As for the rest, it was a complete disaster. We were not informed of this party when making the reservation. The worst client service ever!!!!"

"It used to be a very nice hotel before the pandemic, but seems to be on a downward spiral. The room was clean & ready when we arrived. Pool's water temperature seemed to be just a few degrees above freezing. Nobody attends to breakfast, which is very basic. Once supplies run out (coffee, etc.), that's it. At least, there's coffee in the lobby, one floor away from the breakfast area. Hopefully they'll muster the will to bring this hotel back from the brinks."
