"I went to Dr. Smith for Invisalign aligners almost 7 years ago because at the time I was going to school for trombone and didn’t want braces to tear up my lips when I played. There was so much extra plastic on the inside of the aligners that it kept cutting my tongue and cheeks when I played that I constantly bled. I brought this up as a concern, but I was told that I had to deal with it or cut the aligners/use dental wax myself. They would not help me fix the aligners and after both of those solutions didn’t help the problem, I had to stop using the aligners. I ended up not completing the treatment and stopped going to this practice because everyone treated me like I was the problem and it wasn’t their responsibility to fix my aligners so I wasn’t in constantly pain and bleeding. If I could give zero stars I would. The Invisalign treatment was expensive, which I thought would get me better care. Unfortunately, it did not and I was treated like a nuisance."
