"We visited The Berkshires during our anniversary trip to New England where we spent an evening at The Constance Inn. We’re partial to Victorian homes, so we knew we would love it here! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with such hospitality. We were provided with recommendations for unique shopping and dining options. We celebrated our anniversary at Frankie’s Italian restaurant and our meal and service was fantastic! Back at the Constance, our room was spacious, clean, and unique. The continental breakfast in the morning was a great touch…the Apple Cider was the best we’ve ever had! Such a lovely experience!"

"The rooms were good sized (although I think there were different sizes available). Everything was clean and comfortable. The decor was true to the time period of the house but it was all new and in good condition. They have a great continental breakfast bar that you can access at any time. It was within walking distance of downtown if the weather permits. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay again if I'm ever in town."

"The Constance (and its sibling inns, The Whitlock and The Dewey) are operated by an absolute top-notch staff that are helpful, kind and incredibly hospitable. The Constance specifically is a stunning Victorian with recent renovations where no shortcuts were taken. It's full of charm, warmth and character. From the large front porch, to the comfortable bedding and focus on cleanliness, you're sure to have a lovely stay. Every day an extensive continental breakfast spread was put out, along with snacks and soft drinks available around the clock. We'll certainly be back and I cannot recommend staying at these properties enough."

"The Constance is a beautiful Inn located on lush grounds. The room was IMO good sized and the bathroom was nice. The continental breakfast had good variety--grab a seat on the porch with your bagel and coffee. Unfortunately, too many inconveniences marred our visit. We had to live out of our suitcases, yet there is plenty of room in the amoire for shelving or drawers and a nice chest of drawers could best replace the desk--I mean, who uses a desk anymore? Then there was the television situation. OMG. The tv was hooked up to a Rube Goldberg-esque system featuring two remotes with zero instructions. The first night of our stay there was no reception. The very nice Manager (Brenda?) tried for three hours to contact your tech support prople in Canada- to no avail. The second night we gained reception--but couldn't change channels and could only watch programs on a small screen that was impossible (for me) to expand. By the third night the sucker worked--if one could fiure out (and remember) the various machinations necessary to gainthe right settings and a full picture. If I were management, I'd immediately sack the entire contraption and find a guest-friendly (e.g., fairly uncomplicated) media system."

"I have stayed here 5 times and always have a great time. Centrally located and great rooms. Ron is the best. He greeted myself and my coworkers with a great smile and was so helpful. He really is fabulous."
