"The billing and insurance office of this practice is a complete disaster. I’ve never encountered a more disorganized medical/dental practice. Office confirmed basic cleanings were covered by insurance. Surprise! Not covered after the services were already complete. Paid more than I’ve ever paid for dental services, for simple cleanings. Then multiple calls to confirm that an account has a $0 balance but still being charged. Complete disorganization."
"Avoid this place at all costs! I took my mother here for a dental bridge replacement in July 2023, and it was an absolutely miserable experience. It took them a whole 6 months until December 2023 to complete this procedure, something that could have only taken 3 weeks. She wasn't able to eat from the right side of her mouth for an entire half a year. The assistant there had dropped the initial replacement bridge on the ground in the middle of the procedure before fitting it back into her teeth. When this was brought up to the receptionist Stephanie, they lied and claimed this never happened. The dentist, Ronald Goldberg also blamed my mother for cracking the initial replacement bridge so they had to start all over again from scratch. After a whole 5 months had passed, they decided that this was the appropriate time to give my mother a temporary bridge so she could finally eat again. This temporary bridge almost immediately came loose within days following the procedure, but her next appointment for the final was not due for another few weeks."
"Absolutely horrible. On 11/10/2023 I visited this dentist for a filing replacement. When the dentist applied the nerve deadening agent there was significant sharp pain at the injection site. I informed the dentist of this and she stated this is sometimes an unfortunate side effect. A few days later I was still experiencing pain, as well as pressure, in my jaw. This made it very difficult to eat. I visited the dentist again. She checked and asked about the level of pain. She then stated it would be necessary to visit an oral surgeon and provided a referral paper with the name and 2 phone numbers of one she knew. On Monday, 11/14/2022, I contacted the oral surgeon's office. The receptionist I spoke with was abrasive on the phone, stating I needed to provide a diagnosis and state whether or not I would need X-Rays, basically I had to diagnose my own problem before they would schedule an appointment. So, after going around in circles, I tried to calling the second number. Unfortunately, this was to the same receptionist. I then found and oral surgeon who could schedule me: Albanese Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The oral surgeon's office was fantastic. They scheduled me for a few days later and even went out of their way to check and make sure both their office and their doctor was covered under my insurance. The oral surgeon explained it's likely the needle hit a nerve and did some temporary soft tissue damage. He felt that it had been just a few weeks so it would likely need more time to heal and just to give it a few more weeks. After a few weeks things did improve and, thankfully, I've made a full recovery. I paid the bill from the oral surgeon's office on Wednesday, 2/8/2023. I also confirmed that everything had been paid in full. I contacted the dentist office on Tuesday, 2/14/2023, to discuss reimbursement that my health insurance didn't cover. The office manager, Stephanie, refused and stated I would need to talk to the oral surgeon's office about reimbursement. What exactly was the oral surgeon supposed to reimburse me for? The dentist caused this issue and was the one who referred me to an oral surgeon's office in the fist place. After getting nowhere with Stephanie, I contacted another Simply Beautiful Smiles location and spoke with a receptionist named Casey, she spoke with a regional manager who said the oral surgeon's office could send them the billing information and receipt. This would then be sent to the financial department and they would reimburse the oral surgeon, who would then refund me. The behavior of the office staff at Simply Beautiful Smiles in Springfield, PA was absolutely disgusting. Not once was I given an apology for the pain and suffering I had to deal with for over a month. My thanks goes out to Casey and higher management within Simply Beautiful Smiles. I received and apology from Casey, who wasn't even directly involved in this issue, but none from anyone in this office. I've since closed my file with this office and canceled all future appointments. I'll find a much better dentist office in the area who actually demonstrates care and concern for their patients. I highly recommend anyone else do the same. I've been to other dentists in the Simply Beautiful Smiles network previously. They were all fantastic. So, it's really disappointing to find an office in their network this bad. If they had simply done the right thing and agreed to pay for what they had done wrong I might have stayed with them, but their actions speak loud and clear to the fact they do not care about their patients or the pain and suffering they cause. I can say if you're in need of a great oral surgeon's office, check out: Albanese Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. They're terrific, but if you avoid visiting Simply Beautiful Smiles of Springfield, PA you likely won't need and oral surgeon."
"Andy Goldenberg has been our family dentist for almost 30 years. We have followed him from office to office over the years. He is an excellent dentist, a good guy, and he loves dogs! I highly recommend. My only criticism is not of him, but this new Springfield office he had to move to. It is in an old house and it needs a whole lot of updating and TLC. Other than that, I’m very happy with his dentistry!"
"Today was my first time at this dental practice and I am so happy!!! I called a few days ago and the practice gave me an appointment ASAP. The customer service is A1! They were so nice on the phone and the place was VERY CLEAN! The front desk staff, hygienist and the Dr was very informative, professional and so nice!!! I highly recommend this practice!!!"
