"I was terrified of the surgery I had based on reviews/feedback online. Dr. Dentsman did a wonderful job and I had little pain following surgery. I am SO glad I chose to get the surgery because the pain I was in beforehand was unbearable and the surgery was honestly no big deal. I was glad he told me my options and the potential outcomes of each. I also like that he meets with patients in his office to go over the logistics of everything. I was able to pay attention better than if I were in the exam room. He is not a very bubbly doctor but that's ok as that wasn't what I was looking for."
"Dr. Denstman was my mom's surgeon who operated on her five years ago. And took excellent care of her. Recently do to further colon issues we called on doctor Demtsman again. He was very thorough and answered all of our questions. He was very pleasant and we felt very comfortable with him."
"Wish I could leave 0 stars. My wife has had intense, debilitating pain for almost two years. Denstman not only lacked any sort of bedside manner, he didn’t even look at my wife while discussing her options. She was crying from the pain and he told her to compose herself. We reached out to another office who immediately reassured us that there are many options other than surgery to treat her pain (according to Denstman surgery or living with pain are the only options). We’re traveling an hour to another office and are so grateful we made that call. Also… let me add that he was super annoyed that I wanted to accompany my wife in the appointment. Didn’t introduce himself, wasn’t wearing a mask properly, and was almost 40 minutes past the appointment time (coming straight from lunch, no other patients in office). All in all, the guy is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful… but what do you expect from Christiana Care?"
