"Super grateful for the care Dr. Michael D’Amico and his assistant Lisa Marie provided me during my visit. I needed a tooth extraction and was in excruciating pain for 7 days since all offices were closed for the Christmas/new years holidays. Called the day after Christmas and was able to get an appointment the next day for a consult. They were able to pull my tooth that same day, which I am forever grateful for since my pain was to the point of being unbearable! They pulled the tooth super fast and efficiently and were able to get the molar tooth out in one whole piece. Lisa Marie distracted me during the painful injections and applied pre numbing cream on my gums to ease the pain. Would recommend in a heart beat! Thank you both for helping me in my time of need!"
"My experience with this practice doesn't deserve a single star. Michael D'Amico extracted a tooth and placed a bone graph for a future implant. He was extremely rough and broke an adjacent tooth in the process. No one told me about it before I left the office. I only found out after I removed the gauze once I got home. I called the office the next morning and they gave me an appointment for 8:30 am the next day. When I arrived at my appointment to show them the broken tooth and discuss a plan to fix it, I was told the surgeon wouldn't see me. Apparently, I signed a document stating that adjacent teeth could be damaged, so they aren’t liable to fix the tooth. They claimed to have left a message on my phone cancelling the appointment and telling me to see my general dentist. It’s odd that I didn’t have any missed calls or messages from this office. I’ve also developed sharp pains in my head and behind my eye. My fear is that I have to return to this office in 3 months for the implant."
"We couldn't afford to have our daughter's 4 teeth removed. After speaking with the only professional billing person in the office we opted to get 2 teeth removed and then the other 2 teeth removed after our benefits started over for the new year. We were told we had to pay an amount at the time of scheduling and another amount at the time of the appointment. My daughter had the procedure and they took out 4 teeth. They said it was "an accident" and we would not have to pay for it. Guess what, I received a bill! After over a month of back and forth with a rude billing representative and a not helpful supervisor they said the balance is still due. They keep claiming I will receive the actual EOBS from my insurance company, which I have not. The email correspondence I had with the biller I can no longer retrieve. How ironic! Especially after they admitted they accidentally took 4 teeth out instead of 2. I do not recommend."
"If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. I was seen by this office for a same day tooth extraction. I was relieved that they could see me the same day since I was in a extreme amount of pain and I was also pregnant at the time of the extraction so it was hard to take pain relief medications that would ease the pain. I was given a late morning appointment and the front desk was helpful with getting all my information in the system as soon as possible to get me into a room since they saw how much pain I was in. I was taken back, got radio graphs asap and was placed in a room right after. The dental assistant was very helpful and got me all set up in the room for the extraction to take place. The one receptionist came in to take the payment of 775.00, that I was all ready to pay and gave them my credit card and they charged it before the procedure was finished. The dental surgeon came in and extracted my tooth in no time and the pain was gone instantly. When I went to leave from the appointment, I was stopped by the front desk and the management and was told that my payment of 775.00 is going to be refunded due to myself being pregnant at the time of the appointment because Delaware offers a pregnancy act that the appointment and the cost of it will be covered by this act. I was so grateful and happy that I even hugged the management team that informed me of this great news. They then proceeded to take my card and refund the 775.00 that was charged and also gave me a receipt for both the charge and the refund. I was beyond grateful for this amazing act of kindness from this place. Now here is why I would give them a 0 star review. Today, I received a text message stating that I owed them the 775.00 and the payment is due by 12/15/23. I was appalled by this text message due to what was told to me and the proof that I have of the refund. I called the office and asked why they are now charging me for this procedure and I was transferred to the billing department. I explained my situation to the woman who answered and she laughed and stated that we do not participate in the pregnancy act for quite some time now. I told her that this is what I was told and that I will not be paying this bill that I do not have the money for now that I had at the time of the appointment. This is unprofessional and very rude of this office to falsely tell someone is covered refund the amount and now 6-7 months later want a payment in the middle of December when its a month of giving. They are all liars and take advantage of telling people when they are pregnant that they are covered, when in all reality, that I was told was that nope your not. They are only out to get your money or put you in debt to their facility. I will give them that they put on a great poker face to get you to come in and seem nice but they are pure EVIL. This is outrageous and they need to stop doing this to people, get their hopes up just to bring them down in what is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. Not to mention, I have 3 little boys that I have to provide a Christmas for this year, now I do not know how I will provide a wonderful Christmas for them since this heartless dental office wants to do this to me. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK TO THIS FACILITY NOR WILL I BE RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW BECAUSE THEY PLAY YOU! I WISH I COULD TAKE BACK MY POSITIVE REVIEW AND THE PEOPLE I REFERRED TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO ME."
"Well I have to start off by saying that the dentist is my least favorite place to go let alone an oral surgeon but after visiting this practice my fears were gone. This office offers many perks starting off with the front desk. Renee and the other girls are great they made the paperwork process quick and easy while also making me at home not to mention this is the cleanest modern dentist office that I have ever been to. Dr. Michael was my surgeon, he extracted my wisdom tooth I had no pain during the procedure nor after the procedure he made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. He is the very best I would recommend him to everyone. Once you visit this practice you won’t go anywhere else."
