"Georgetown location in Delaware: Had me drive down for an IUD without anyone letting me know the preparations needed for the procedure. He ended up refusing to preform the procedure understandably, but there was absolutely no empathy shown to me towards my wasted time. A vacation day and 5 hours in the car to get to the office, something I had informed the front desk about, and the doctor didn't even have the common curtesy to speak to me directly and apologize for the miscommunication. He communicated through a very unfriendly nurse. I had just had a tumor removed that I was told was most likely due to the birth control I was on, and the non hormonal IUD was something that finally was going to reduce the anxiety of developing another one. Now due to miscommunication I will continue to have to have that anxiety and risk for however much longer to come."
