Sweet Bites Charcuterie

"I can't speak on the quality of Sweet Bites food or setups because I never received their services. However, I can speak to the lack of communication and customer service. I hired Sweet Bites for a brunch grazing board for my sister in laws bridal shower. Two days prior to the event, I emailed them to confirm the time they would be arriving and that everything was set. I never received an email back, but I thought maybe their just busy. Its now the day of the bridal shower and its 15 mins past when they are set to arrive, so I called to make sure they weren't lost. I spoke on the phone with Liz the owner, who had no idea that this bridal shower was happening. I was never added to the schedule. Therefore, its now less than 2 hours before guests are arriving and I have no food, utensils, plates, etc! Now, Liz did call a local restaurant and was able to get me food and she paid for it, but she also still promised me a full refund. Of course, I had to go pick it up and also head to the store to get plates, fruit, and utensils. This was very stressful with less than an hour before the event. On the evening of the bridal shower, Liz emailed me with a nice apology and saying she wanted to do something more for me. She offered to pay for my sister in laws rehearsal dinner for FREE! I was very pleased with this remedy and thought she went above & beyond. Fast forward over a month later and I finally just received my refund after having to email them countless times asking for my money back. Anytime they did happen to email me back someone always said "we'll reach back out to you with an update by tomorrow morning or by tonight at the latest." And a week would go by and I had to email them yet again! They have also now stated that they won't do the rehearsal dinner for free because they gave me a refund. Even though they said they would and of course I should receive a refund because I never received services! They basically promised me a FREE rehearsal dinner when it was actually a 50% off rehearsal dinner because they had planned to keep my refund. Which if that was the case, then be up front about it and not give someone false promises. This entire thing has been extremely stressful and a complete lack of communication! I've worked with a lot of businesses and they respond daily to their emails! This whole thing would not of happened if they checked their email more than once a week, since I emailed them 2 days prior to the bridal shower to confirm which would of given them a heads up."

"Love their charcuterie, but not enougj stock at either location that I have visited to purchase some. Would rather have less places, and one near Long Neck, with more stock."

"My mom loved her Mother's Day charcuterie board! It was beautifully arranged with meats, cheeses, chocolate covered strawberries, fresh and dried fruit and more. She said everything tasted delicious, and she loved the candle, flowers and balloon as well. Liz was great with communication and delivery. I also love that she works with other small local businesses to build her gorgeous boards. We'll be buying from her in the future (:"
