"I strongly encourage any real estate buyer to work with another law firm for settlement. I have found working with Veronica Townsend extremely disheartening. The experience leaves me with the sense that she is happy to take your money but not so keen to actually do the work of easing one into their new home. Let me explain... There is an ongoing conversation about the boundaries of my property. This is an issue that would have been easily managed at settlement if Veronica had actually paid attention to the survey and explained the boundaries, which are different than would be suggested by the placement of our driveway. This caused an awkward (to say the least) experience with our new neighbors which has yet to be resolved. It's been three weeks since I reached out to Ms. Townsend for clarification. Her response has been that she is too busy to address the issue, when I get a response at all. Prior to managing this conflict, I was already disappointed with the quality of service. Her paralegal, Ches, is difficult to work with as he does not reply to emails without prompting and when he does it is usually less than helpful. Ms. Townsend also made a back-handed joke about my husband's stroke during settlement which I let slide at the time, but doesn't help my view of this law firm now that I actually need them to do their job. It's been three weeks of emails asking for assistance on this matter and I've gotten no useful response from Ms. Townsend, so I am hoping that this honest review will help me receive the service I paid for."
