"I had PA Jacob last year for one visit and never went back. I debated putting this up for a year but it is my experience, maybe it won't be yours. I was in tears by the time I left due to how he was with me. He was condescending and very uncaring so I called to talk about him to my insurance company after I tried to call the UMC number being on hold for over an hour, twice. It's hard to get ahold of a supervisor or anyone above people in the office. After that, I got a letter that I had to sign for at the post office saying I was not welcomed back because he couldn't trust me. I took no issue with that because I'm not going to trust someone who is disgusting to me and telling me, the first time they meet with me, that I need to see a bariatric surgeon for a consultation. Yes, I'm plus size but seeing me for less than 5 minutes, not asking me what my situation is, and other factors was unacceptable. He made me sign that I refused care or something for the OBGYN and the surgreon but I wanted to leave so quickly I signed in tears. I don't go to to doctors appointments alone now because I'm concerned I'll be treated like this. Nobody should be treated this way. I am fine with honesty saying I am obese on the BMI or whatever is an actual fact but he could have asked first what my old doctor was suggesting when he transferred me over there or what my mental health professional sugguested before he sugguest surgery. Surgery for plus size people fixes nothing if they don't do the emotional work first. If you are plus size in general, I would steer clear."

"Receptionist Destiny is very Ghetto and Rude I called this morning around 8:30am after receiving a missed call from Christine to schedule my first appointment I immediately was questioned like I shouldn’t be calling asking if I had done the transfer or records which I replied yes than she acted more confused like she didn’t know what was going on and said she would need to speak with Christine before scheduling my first appointment and that Christine would be reaching out. Than at 4 pm I get a call from destiny again who sound miserable to be there and she starts asking me questions about when we can make the appointment I agree take the first one presented explaining to her I’m at work asking if she could email the appointment time she says no with a little laugh behind it almost like someone trying to start something with you out of no where for no reason I say okay right the appointment down she than asks me again if I sent my medical records I said yes and asked if she needed anything else explaining I’m at work she than tells me she’s not going to rush and it could take anywhere from 5-10 minutes i than ask her is Christine is her supervisor after a long pause she says yes and I tell her that I would like to speak to her she than says she can schedule a call back and cancel my appointment if I’d like I say no we’re gonna make the appointment and we’re gonna make one for this and I wanna speak to your supervisor after she than takes her time finishing scheduling the appointment and doesn’t let me speak to her manager very unhappy it’s my first impression of this office hopefully someone reads this who cares and can correct her inappropriate behavior"
