"I have had two fantastic experiences with the LaVigna Bros. They did great work, were very thorough, and the pricing was fair and reasonable (and certainly lower than what I had been paying at the dealership). I brought the car in for its annual servicing and in addition to the excellent servicing, they outlined all the future red flags for my car, and then didn't try to sell me anything. It was just, "So you're aware, here's some stuff to keep an eye on that will probably need to happen eventually." I suspected my battery was in bad shape, which they confirmed (they had double checked it without me even mentioning it), and then gave me an estimate of how much longer I could go safely on the current battery. I do recommend making an appointment. They work quite fast, but they are very popular, for obvious reasons. Still, I told them I needed my car by 4 to pick up my son, and they had it done well before then. The guys are lovely to talk to, friendly and funny, and they do great work."

"I don't even know if both brothers will read the review. You always think mechanic sees a middle age "old" lady, and worry about making up things about the car and charges you a lot. My car is always taken care by my "fake" (not even amateur) mechanic husband and he is out of town. My car died in the mall for not starting up and finally it worked. I am worrying this whole week with busy schedule and I need my car. So, I pull in their garage, they were very busy indeed on Monday morning. Then, they were able to take a look at the battery. After 1.5 hours, they told me the battery is good and when one of them drove my car out, the brake light was gone, then, they pulled my car in and fixed it. And my charge is ZERO. BTW, I just moved in Harrison for few months, and I am very happy for my decision already, now, you see why. I want to say, it is NOT because they didn't charge me (and at least they should charge the labor, and I will pay it off with a small gift later), it is what they care about people, knowing that I do need my car around. During the holiday season, it reminds me how important with sharing and caring. I will use what they did and pass to someone else.....!!"
