"As a resident on the block for ten years I can accurately give details of what this park is like. I would not suggest this park to anyone, not even my worst enemy. It isn't safe, nor is it enjoyable. It is right smack in the middle of the most ghetto part of town. Drug dealers across the street. People blasting loud music driving by. People bring dangerous animals inside. The park itself is disgusting, dirty and unkempt. The people who frequent the park are undesirable. Not suitable for children of any age. Do not recommend at all."
"It wasn't a bad park. The trash cans needed to be emptied and there was only one drug deal while we were there, but we loved the splash pad."

"Phase I and II of the John O Green Parks sit across Miner Street from one another. Phase one has a cute little water play area and playground equipment. It has a picnic pavilion with picnic tables and a large barbecue. Phase II has more play equipment including a zipline, fake rock wall and other climbing things. It has a 4 square and basketball area. The thing missing from these parks is grass and plant as it has lots of pavement that serves no purpose."
