"I will say that this is one heck of a store when they're looking for a couple shows or like nothing bolt containers for a couple projects I had to do. I asked the customer service if they could help me out and the lady brought me to a section at sure enough had just what I needed to. Customer service was fantastic and spot on very nice and clean inside and the people were very helpful. I will be going back"

"I like the shelving The Container Store offers. They will even come out to your home and look at the area and offer suggestions (at no additional cost). They have installers that will come to your home and install your shelving. The product is not cheep and the installation is not cheep. The thing that I think is screwed up is that I, the customer, had to go and pick up the heavy shelving and bring it to my home for when the installer shows up. Why can't the installer bring the product? With the cost that you are paying it just doesn't make sense and makes it super inconvenient. The Container Store will put you in touch with someone who can deliver your shelving for more $$$. I have seen the installer's vehicle and there is no way he could fit the shelving in it. I personally feel that The Container Store should have their own delivery team that's on their payroll and will not charge the customer for delivery. Because after you add up the cost of the product, a delivery fee and an installer fee you are paying way more than what I think is the product is worth."

"A few years ago we got a custom closet from them and absolutely loved it (hence the 2 stars) I'm very disappointed in this one. I can't put anything on the top shelf and not quite sure how to reach anything on the bottom left or right. The design looked amazing and just didn't match reality. A lot of money for a closet that was supposed to maximize space and instead minimized it. Edit: 1 star because to make it functional my husband took 12 inches out of the center and now I can't hang anything long in the closet and have less room then I started with. I've never spent so much money on something I absolutely hate."

"Store aisles are not clear at all! We've shopped here before, and while their products can be pricey, we've found some great items. So much so that we drive over an hour just to shop here. We prefer to shop in-person to see before I buy. However, today (Friday @ 11:30 a.m.) was TERRIBLE! Half of the aisles were full of boxed and loose merchandise. So much so that you can't even walk down them let alone push a shopping cart. I asked about why it was like this, and all I heard was, "Oh... were sorry." I spoke to the manager who said this is a weekly event for them... this is how they unload truck deliveries every week! This is crazy! I've never known a retailer to so totally disrupt the shopping experience. Store Manager Nicole initially refused to give me the name/contact information for the regional manager; she was rude and patronizing. Again, we really like the products here and are generally willing to spend the money here. But their lack of quality customer service skills and awareness of shopper needs is appalling. They can't do the bulk of this reshelving before or after open store hours? AND, THIS HAPPENS EVERY WEEK?"

"The Container Store is a great place for items to organize your home as well as inspiration for design. We got some great organizers while there for under bed storage and we loved the closet designs. One of our goals in our home is to have our closet well organized and have quality shelving and storage solutions. We haven’t taken the plunge yet but, we can’t wait to do so!"
