"DO NOT buy anything from Eddie Bauer. My husband bought 2 pairs of jeans for $130. 2 weeks later one pair completely ripped out the back. He is a slim guy and was wearing his correct size. It was an obvious defect. Well guess what…he was told they can’t do anything because it is wear and tear!! After 2 weeks. We buy a lot from this store and online and are rewards members, but it means nothing. Called Eddie Bauer customer service line, same thing. Only they said we can incur shipping charges, send them to their returns dept and it will be at their discretion as to a refund!! I REPEAT do not buy anything from Eddie Bauer. There is nothing in writing that says if you buy the jeans you may not be able to return or even exchange. Now we have only one wearable pair that cost us $130. Eddie Bauer does not care about their customers."

"The manager was incredibly rude. My wife and I were trying to return a shirt that had never been worn, and the manager made a dramatic show of sniffing the shirt - which just smells like a new shirt - and loudly proclaimed that the shirt had been washed and that she could not accept it in such a damaged condition. When I explained that it had never been washed or worn, she then said maybe someone else in my household washed the shirt and didn’t tell me. There is no one else in my household. Incredibly rude and combative - never shopping here again."

"Honestly I’m not sure to why am I giving them even one star rating, they don’t deserve that. My wife actually worked at this location, the store manager is absolutely worthless, she is nice on the face but behind the back is the most disgusting and disrespectful person. She never trained my wife for the position she was hired for other than some papers with some sets of instructions to what to do. As per the company, this is one of the worst company to work for. They will cut their employees hours and the excuse is “ Store is not making enough sales” but yet they can afford to pay the store manager the bonus. Also they only keep part time employees so they don’t have to give any benefits except the store manager. Everything is micromanaged, District Manager is very unprofessional about handling the employees situations or any issues in the store. At last this is NOT the company that we as customers should support as there are no Ethics and professionalism. The management should be ashamed of themselves."

"Dreadful experience at Eddie Bauer in Glenn Mills, PA today. Had a simple warranty of a pair of pants that had literally split on me while I was at work by no fault of my own. It was embarrassing and I had to leave work to change. I should also add that I am a slender guy in my 20s. The pants were only about 2 to 2 1/2 years old which is when Eddie Bauer had a lifetime warranty. This location's manager refused to honor that warranty and gave me an extremely hard time. Keep in mind I have bought tons of items from Eddie Bauer and spent thousands. I will never shop at Eddie Bauer again and I hope they retrain their "managers" on the proper way to treat customers!! Take my advise and SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!"

"Extremely nice and helpful staff, made my visit enjoyable. Good selection and great quality clothes. The selection of men’s and women’s clothing are huge, I wish there was a bigger selection of kids clothes. There was some nice things available for kids but only in 1 or 2 different sizes. Future- I would like to see more of the kids selection that’s available online in the stores. Store was also kept very well and clean."
