"I have had 3 antique pieces reupholstered at Barlows and I am happier every time. They have not been super valuable pieces, but they were nice quality with a bit of sentimental value and once done, not any more expensive than top end new pieces. Jay loves to bring a piece back to its original glory, which was what we wanted. Their fabric selection is limited to modern suppliers, so if you want a particular period fabric, best to find it on your own, but they are so easy to work with, you can definitely get what you want."

"This family owned small business is a treasure. They have a huge selection of fabric samples to choose from and their workmanship is outstanding. Everyone is pleasant to work with. Barlow’s has reupholstered 3 chairs for me over the years and each looks spectacular. The most recent job was an old Edwardian channel back chair that required rebuilding the framework before being reupholstered. I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result and now have a piece that will be passed down through my family."
"This upholstery shop does outstanding work. I have used them for many years. Our couch is too large to move out of our condo. They come in and retie the springs and reupholster on site. They recently recovered my dining chairs and now are recovering my living room pieces. They can odder whatever fabric you or your decorator specify. There is no better place to trust quality pieces than Barlows."
