"Excellent museum that starts with a video gives you a brief history of both the station and the history of the life saving service. The museum is self paced, but utilizes a phone number you call. Most exhibits have a number on it. Tou enter that number into your phone, and the automated system gives you a bit about that particular exhibit. Not really interested in something? Don't put in the number. Interested? Put it in. It's like a self-paced guided tour. The best of both worlds. Definitely worth the $4 entry."
"Look for and don't miss the Britches (sic) Buoy demonstration they put on here at the station. It is so very, very entertaining for adults (why and how historically) and for children (cute uniforms, military formation with commands, and they fire a cannon ). Plus the whole station is an honorable tribute to the heros in our Coast Guard past and present. Can you imagine trekking up and down that beach in a Winter Northeaster- night and day -24/7. Thank you Delaware Parks."
