"Enjoyed the reenactments before the weather shifted to rain. Sussex Tavern had delicious libations and totally enjoyed the hot chocolate at the coffee house! Will definitely attend the First Friday events at the tavern and Holiday house tours!"
"Live this place. So much energy! Volunteers show you around and transport you back two hundred+ years. There's a school house, a doctor's office and many other buildings representing life from the 1800s. First Friday of the month is always happy hour"
"My mom and I had a great experience while visiting the historical sites the society runs. We truly appreciated the "actors." We enjoyed talking to them. We were in all of all the details of historical people; the knowledge of the time period, and the explanations of the buildings. We also enjoyed the teas we got from one of the buildings."
