"This has to be my least favorite Ethiopian food experience I've ever had. I'm not an expert, but I do eat Ethiopian food often enough and have had it in many cities and countries. The food here was food truck quality at best (and I've had better from a food truck in Denver). The flavor is there, but the quality of the food was disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the sides were mushy. It seems as if we were given food left over from them weekend that was recooked. The bar has to be the draw here, because the food is not it. Since moving down to these parts, I have yet to encounter great Ethiopian food like North Jersey or NYC. Looks like I'll be making the 2 hour journey to get what I'm looking for."
"It's ok. I don't eat Ethiopian a lot, so take this review with the understanding that I am not an expert. That being said, of the Ethiopian I have had, Zuzu's Kitchen had a better balance of flavor at a more affordable price. The lamb was very good but when mixed with everything else I wasn't a fan. I honestly didn't finish it."
"Cozy warm local spot with a family feel. Good for drinks and unique food, as opposed to boring bar food. Owners are great. Gets packed on Wed for quizzo. Karoke on Sundays as of my visit last week"
"Excellent value for great Ethiopian food. The atmosphere, especially in the bar area, is fairly basic, but that gives it a very welcoming low-key feel IMHO. I've eaten in a lot of Ethiopian restaurants, and the quality of the food here ranks with the best of them. Super friendly bartender, would definitely seek it out again if I'm ever back in Philly."
"Great spot! It is a dive bar first and foremost. It has some beers on tap, but based on what people are ordering, Citywide is their thing! We had Magic hat, which was one of the beers on tap. They also serve Ethiopian food and it was delicious. We got the combo platter, so was able to order a bunch of different stuff. It was so flavorful and exactly as described on the menu. Looking forward to returning!"
