"Matt is honestly a horrible manager. He shows attitude and will play with you and your time. I had my car in the shop and was told it’ll be done that day, it ended up not being done okay cool!! BUT he did not call or text or anything. I had to call to find out my car was going to be in the shop another day. He did this to me TWICE! Another time I came (given the benefit of the doubt) for another job only half of the job gets done. I call and tell him only half of it got done and then he says bring it this day and all of the sudden ONCE again the SAME exact thing. Car cannot be finished BUT MATT does not call or text to tell you. He leaves you clueless. If you want your time to be wasted come to Meinikie. Everyone else there is okay though."

"Dropped my car off for an oil leak. Was told it was a faulty engine oil filter adapter that needed to be swapped out and replaced. $2200 for labor and parts! Looked up the average cost for labor and parts for my make and model vehicle nationwide and ranged from $1000-$1300. Absolutely ridiculous, doesn’t matter what sort of craftsmanship you’re claiming to have, that sort of price for that job is just an insult to hardworking Americans making an honest living. Take your vehicles to independently owned, trusted auto shops for any repairs and support small businesses."

"Took an 03 Camery in for 4 plugs and coils. Dude tells me $1600. Say what! At best 1-2 hour shop time with $400 OEM parts. He couldn't explain the ridiculously high markup! To add insult to injury, they charged me 125 diagnostic fee (that I never asked them to do) only to tell me what I brought the car in for. He said they charge everyone that fee. They attempt to sound knowledgeable and are smooth talkers but really only out to snag a big $$ sale. They must get commission kickbacks of sales. I sure hope Dateline does a hidden undercover story on them soon! I ended up going across road to Advance Auto and replaced 4 plugs and coils in 34 minutes in the parking lot at a cost of $250 bucks. I would never recommend Meinekee after that experience."
