"We stopped at Dodge's because we wanted a quick bite for lunch while attending a nearby youth soccer tournament. We were pleasantly surprised at the diverse menu - miraculously our entire party of 7 (including picky kids) found something they liked! Service was outstanding and very friendly. Turns out it is the longest operating market in the state of New Jersey - going back to the 1800's! Loved being able to spend lunch at this little slice of New Jersey history."
"I went here for lunch today with a party of 6, all of us vegan. I had called a few days ahead to make sure they could accommodate us, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. When we got there, he had 2 vegan specials planned for us made with fresh local produce and both were amazing. We also got an order of hand-cut fries for the table which were seriously the best fries I've ever had in my life...I might have to go back to Elmer just for them! All of the food was very high quality, very fresh and very delicious! One word of caution though is don't go here if you're in a rush because service is very slow. But that just gives you more time to visit, relax, and soak in the authentic old-timey country vibe of the place. Not just a meal, it's an experience! And the owners are just the nicest guys and very accommodating to dietary restrictions. If you're in the area definitely check this place out."
"Don't get the panini, unless you like them burnt. Our 1st time eating there did not make a good impression. The owner didn't even tell us our to-go order was ready, he just left it on the counter. We were so disappointed and will not be back."
"first time there. i got the curry chicken sandwich and my wife got a apple walnut chicken salad. mine was great, she liked hers aswell. I would definitely get it again but I want to try others. menu has great options. also tasty pastries...tasty. I like the atmosphere inside but it was nice out so we sat on the porch."
"Such a cute place to stop into with the most delicious food! My cousin had a surprise baby shower here and I was back within a few days because of how great the atmosphere was and how friendly the staff is. Signature salad dressing is excellent, and the panini I ordered with fresh basil, mozzarella, pesto, and tomatoes was to die for!!! A MUST-see if you’re in the area."
