"Grub hub order: The food is great. The service is terrible. The cashier didn't know what salsa verde and roja (green and red sauce) at a spanish restaurant. When asked to please give another one, after explaining it to her, she said its included in the meal. Its not, since ive ordered from here before and ordered the same items. Then she said you can order from Grub Hub as a side dish. It's not in Grub Hub as a side dish. Additionally, the items on grub hub are not correctly described. Dish came with rice and beans but didn't state that so I ended up paying 5 dollars for about 2 tablespoons of beans and a cup of rice (see picture). Your food is great but there are some fundamental issues that need to be addressed. Before we throw language barrier or something with race as the issue, I am Guatemalan, born and raised, and speak both languages fluently."

"I lived in San Diego for 5 years so the bar for tacos is pretty high for me.. that being said the tacos Mexicanos are delicious. Pro tip: if you order pickup add 10-15 minutes to the time they tell you otherwise you’re gonna stand there waiting for a while. Besides that the service is great. Definitely recommend!"

"Great food! They catered our company’s cinco de mayo party last minute and did an amazing job. Everyone loved the food! Nice people working here."

"Such a fun and cute place! It’s a grocery store in the front and then BOOM a little piece of beautiful Mexico in the back with great authentic food at reasonable prices. The food was on point! The people were friendly and the options were many! I saw they have a small stage area and saw signs about Karaoke- but I didn’t experience that so I’m not totally sure. Give this place a try- support local restaurants. These people really care about the food and quality they provide and give you flavorful plates you won’t find in chain restaurants. Try the tortas!"

"The food is authentic and delicious. I ordered chicken tamales and they are large and yummy. The green tomatillo sauce has a great flavor and is spicy but not too hot. We also got the lamb barbacoa, and it was the best I have ever had. The lamb was tender, juicy and had a lovely flavor.. We've lived in San Antonio for 25 years and El Manantial would give some of our favorite places there a run for their money."
