"My sauerbraten looked different from the pictures online, it looked like microwaved Salisbury steak. Slightly disappointed. The goulasch was pretty good. Forgot the name of the black German beer. It's a good combo. They were busy and they were able to keep their service exceptional. Almost forgot, the potato dumplings, to me personally it was good, the texture was new. You should try it."

"Very fascinating. It’s basically a cavernous beer hall which I guess is authentic for this sort of thing? I really liked my meal. Never had spatzel before…quite a cozy gnocchi type pasta dish. Fried chicken and red cabbage were good. German music played the whole time which I find fun. Overall fun experience. Would try again sometime for beers, which we didn’t get this time."

"Second time visiting and a wonderful experience both times. We did my bachelor party dinner two years ago here and came today with the wife. Delicious food and always delicious food. Food that’ll make you sleep heavy that night! I know we’re gonna! Thanks everyone."

"It’s so nice to have some variety here in Aberdeen. I came for a quick bite and ended up getting the flying pig wings w/ the boozy sauce which is as good as they make it sound, fall of the bone tender. I also got the fries, and dinner roll which were sooo good with the butter! To top the meal off I tried one of the wines and I’m happy to say I loved it. They have plenty of seating so bring the family. Personally I know I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing friends!"

"I left Germany in 88 with the military and have never found a German restaurant this good in a long time. The food was as I remembered. Full of flavor portions were good. The authentic attire, along with the gentleman playing the accordion, just made the experience that much better. Going next year for their Octoberfest."
