"Small boardwalk diner type breakfast restaurant. Quiet off season time we stopped by for a quick bite on the way home. Slightly disappointed by our food and service. Patrice didn't seem into working. Not personable, seemed out of it. Forgot a couple things, and disappeared a few times throughout our meal. Hot sauce was expired, when we brought it up to her she said it's the only one in the store and left it on the table. Slightly dingy in appearance, could use a coat of paint and things like the table caddy and window sills need to be wiped down. Because end of the season maybe?"

"Excellent breakfast. Food cooked as you ask and delicious. Coffee is great-very delicious. Staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Can’t say enough good things. Visited twice from Central Jersey in last 2 weeks! Keep up the good work!!! We need good restaurants like yours!"

"August 17th, 2023. Our family of three stopped in for breakfast because my wife had seen the reviews and we wanted a diner breakfast. We had just popped in after opening. Service was great. Our waitress was super-friendly and attentive. Order came out accurately and quick. Thanks to the kitchen as well. Food was good. Standard fare of omelets and over medium eggs. My wife had a straight forward order, my son and I built our omelets and added toppings like tomatoes, onions, peppers, ham, and sausage. This is part of why I'm writing this review. When the bill came all the toppings were significantly higher than the menu prices. On the menu, onions, peppers, and tomatoes are 99 cents, but on our bill they were $2 and my sons orange juice while I don't remember the price it was higher on the bill also when compared to the menu pricing. I made the server(s) aware and they were quick to adjust the bill accordingly. I explained that it seemed misleading. So, if the prices are in fact $2 make that known to the customer on the menu so that it's fully transparent. Again, loved the place, service, and the food."

"We had a wonderful breakfast at Pompeo’s this morning. Service was amazing, food was delicious and coffee was awesome! Yes, it’s $4.50 for a cup of coffee, but it’s bottomless and one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in awhile! They are quick to refill. Highly recommend!"

"Haven't been here in years and last time we were it was only breakfast. We went for dinner tonight and had mixed results. We had the following as part of our order. Appetizers of Fried Zucchini Sticks, Fried Mozzarella and Scallops, all were very good. The Scallops had a nice little spicy kick to them. For dinner, Veal Parmigiano, Cheese Gnocchi, Spaghetti Aglio E Olio and Nonna's Special w Rigatoni and Sausage. The Nonna Special also includes soup and rice pudding. All of the dishes were served at a nice temperature and the leftovers were still warm when we got home. The Gnocchi wasn't a hit but that may be a personal choice. The portions were a nice size and provided plenty of food for lunch tomorrow. The restaurant was out of expresso, which is always disappointing as is only having sweet sausage. What Italian restaurant runs out of expresso? Why do Italian restaurants not serve spicy sausage? For dessert we had the rice pudding, which was cold and delicious, just needed a little cinnamon. We also ordered a Cannoli, which was off. The shell was crunchy but something not quite right with the filling. They did take this off our bill. We were seated right away, the service was good but was slow. Restaurant was clean but the front door closer needs to he repaired. Every time the door was opened it would close with a slam. The poor woman at the table next to us would jump every time it slammed. They do have a great location and view."
