"Absolutely Love this Resort! Its perfect! it’s only 90 minutes from DC. my girlfriend and I had a wonderful few days at the resort during the winter months the staff is very accommodating the bids are super super comfortable. I highly recommend the king rooms facing the water. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very accommodating with our emotional support animal. even during the winter they had plenty of activities. The indoor pool area and hot tub. Indoor outdoor area is excellent. They have a game room for the kitties. The resort boasts in 18 hole golf course. I’m pretty sure it’s much more expensive in the summer months but I’d love to stay here for a week. My girlfriend raved about the spa. I and it’s so close to DC please visit."

"Used the hotel a handful of times for company events. Beautiful location, even in winter! Hotel and rooms are a little worn and dated but by no means frayed. I would expect a refresh in a year or so. Not at all pleased with the hotel for the events, however. Extremely high prices and bad policies have been my experiences. $92 plus 25% or so "Service charge" for a chicken dinner, for example. Absurd. Nice play to go I think for a weekend as a person or family but the beauty of the scenery cannot make the charges and fees justifiable for events."

"We stayed for two nights in the hotel with our 3 children. I requested in advance a baby crib for my baby, we arrived to the room and there was no baby crib. I had to ask twice and only at 6pm we got one. On the second day, there was no housekeeping. We were out of the room from 9am till 1:30 pm and came to our room to realize that the room was not cleaned, no fresh towels and the bins were full. I had to ask several times and every time got partial service. My babies were asleep from 2-5pm so they had an excuse that the “do not disturb” sign was on. I think that they had plenty of time to clean the room till 2pm. Then at 6 pm they brought 3 clean towels and that’s it. Left all the wet towels and dirty bins. Then after talking with the front desk someone came and cleaned the bins and added two face towels. Didn’t take the wet towels and didn’t tidy up the room. Then after texting with the hotel they brought 2 more big towels. I spent so much time and energy to get basic service."

"We had a great experience with the hotel holiday decoration, service, and our suite. Very thoughtfully curated gift shop where we picked up local goods like honey. We really enjoyed the pick-up dining especially the breakfast Shrimp and Grits. So good it inspired my Wife to save their ingredient list and try to make it ourselves. But alas we’ll be missing the Maryland local seafood and corn which is really good. The dinner ribeye was charred perfectly too."

"A nice hotel in a great setting with a nice golf course but just too expensive for what you get. It is a large facility that has a ton of amenities so there is plenty to do. They were a little short staffed for our conference but then many places are these days. Parking is nowhere near the entrance to the hotel which is odd. I enjoyed the food at the resort. We visited the town of Cambridge which while very historic was a bit run down and disappointing. Lots of conferences and weddings so it can be loud in the evening. Conference facilities are quite nice."
