Applebee's Grill + Bar

"I took my family there yesterday on 01/09/24 upon arrival there was a lady standing there waiting to be helped with a menu in hand we stood there for 10 minutes only 2 people in there at bar drinking beer no one else except server which never acknowledged any of us so the lady walked out my grandson walked to the bar and said are yall open or what she said yes I’m the only one here I’ll be there soon we waited a few more minutes and left she was more worried about feeding the 2 men alcohol then seating some actual customers. Never again that was severely poor service she never even spoke to any of us."

"So my negativity experience is about the final billing/check so be very carefully/ mindful about what the initial total of your bill is when they bring it to you before they run your card versus when they bring it back to you after they run your card. I’m an active duty veteran and I’m telling you my bill was $63 with the mil discount for 2 ppl when they initially gave me my bill and after I gave them my card to run when the bill came back it was $72 , this is before tip. Where in the hell did the $9 different come from, From the time I handed them my card for payment? It’s just wild. I promise you I will never go back to this location and will tell every veteran and person I know not to go as well."

"Our waitress was uninvolved. My Grandson went to put A-1 on his steak and I kid you not it came out like water being poured,like it was watered-down. We told my Grandson to wait and we would ask for another bottle. Well 25 minutes later she decided to show up and ask how things were going. We told her about the steak sauce and she replied I shook it before I put it on the table. I said it looks like someone added water to it. She took the bottle and shook it and she was surprised at the consistency. She brought back a brand new bottle and by then my Grandsons steak was cold. Also the fries came out ice cold but the awesome server, not our waitress offered to bring back hot fries. He was back in a flash with fresh hot fries. We don't normally go to Applebee's but our experience reminds us of why we don't."

"First, TJ was a really good server. Had the holiday special with riblets and chicken. The main course was pretty good but the sides were a joke. Very skimpy. I'm always amazed that these type of restaurants don't think we can compare the picture to what is actually served! How are they going to get repeat customers when you feel cheated. It also doesn't make you feel good about a restaurant when you can hear the manager yelling at the kitchen staff at the top of her lungs."

"I have not been to an Applebees in probably a decade. However this was close to the Easton airport. Got a rack of ribs and they honestly were just alright but extra points for value. Not easy to find even store made ribs for this price. The slaw was okay enough. But the service was amazing. Our waitress was on top of everything. We said we only have 40 minutes to order and eat. She brought out our meals fast (ribs and a salad. The best part was.. my glass never went empty. Every time my soda was halfway down she was right there with a fresh bubbly fix. I really wish I remembered her name. So this restaurant gets extra stars for her service and fast delivery of hot ready to eat food. Plus I had no expectations for this restaurant at all. I was just really hungry. It’s safe to say they exceeded expectations if there had been any. Thank you for your hard work and letting me quench my thirst."
