"If Ivan isn’t there I either come back another day or find another shop. They all do good work especially Joel. The shop was not busy at all when I went. So waiting almost 3 hours (ridiculous) watching Joel cut the same person hair while the other barbers had people in & out It got to the point I asked someone else who is sitting there doing nothing, on their phone, looked at the other barber and told me "he almost done" in other words saying no. No matter how long I'm waiting none of the other barbers ever insist. Joel is not a kid friendly barber. Noticing him blowing his breath at times if my 4 yr old flinch, close his eyes too tight or scratch his head didn’t sit well with me. And he’s razor happy. He pushes my child hairline back a lil too much at times! I rather wait for Ivan."
"Yea I’m never goin back here. USE to have a middle part with wavy/curly hair now I have a bowl cut. Dude didn’t listen to anything I said. Cut it way too short. Also cut my head with a straight razor which idek y he needed to use that. At least the fade is good ig"
"Ivan’s Barbershop changed my life. Ivan gives all ethnicities and ages precision haircuts at affordable prices. The shop is a Pilar in the community where men go to connect, get local news, and laugh. This place is no different it’s a melting pot, I actually run into people I know from Philly in here. You will never leave Ivan’s chair with hair growing out of your ears, nose or eyebrows. There will never be a time that you walk out feeling anything less than your best you. I have seen him bless single parents in the neighborhood with back to school haircuts and you can feel good that you are putting your money right back in the community."
