Enchantment Theatre Company, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been delighting audiences with imaginative productions for over 35 years. Using expressive masks, life-sized puppets, magical illusion, music, movement, and pantomime, ETC brings new and classic fables, myths, and legends to life on stage. The company inspires, challenges, and enriches audiences of all ages in the classroom and community.

Currently, ETC is seeking physical performers of all ages, identities, and ethnicities for lead roles and swings in their upcoming productions. The Brave Little Tailor, based on the Brothers Grimm tale, follows the adventures of a feisty tailor who conquers giants, a rhinoceros, and a dragon with his wit and courage. Rehearsals are typically held Monday through Friday, and performers will receive a weekly stipend.

In addition to performers, ETC is looking for a Company Manager/Technical Director to assist with scheduling, tech elements, and venue management. The salary for this position is $450/week for rehearsals and performances. The company is committed to diversity and inclusion, casting performers of color for their productions.

Auditions for ETC will take place on March 16th, 2024, at Equilibrium Dance Academy in Philadelphia. Selected performers will participate in workshops exploring mask work, puppetry, and creative movement. The company's production of The Brave Little Tailor will tour schools and community venues in Philadelphia this spring, with plans for a new symphony show, Peer Gynt, in the upcoming season.
