"Do not waste your time people!! Ordered the Cat fish with Mac n Cheese and Collard Greens. The fish was way overcooked to the point that it was rubbery. The collard greens tasted like pure salt. Took one bite and had to throw it out. The only thing that was edible was the Mac n cheese .... and that was not all that. $17 wasted ... but at least i tried it once. Sorry but will not be back."
"We ordered the fried whiting platter with Mac and cheese, candied yams and fried cabbage. The yams were overly sweet it was my first time seeing yams so dark it was like smothered in molasses sugar, the fish was dry, little to no seasoning, and the cabbage had a strong flavor of pepper, I couldn’t put my finger on that season. The Mac and cheese was the only thing I like, I was really hoping to have them as my new go to place for soul food but unfortunately that’s not happening. Dang I wish I could have given them 4 stars being that it’s a black business. Bottom line, if I’m paying for it I want good tasting food."
"Recently retried Aunt Marys. Quicker service still a little wait. The crabbed stuffed salmon was good id prefer no lettuce bottom or maybe one big leaf. The yams was super sweet. The mac was good. I love the sauce on the salmon. I had to take two sittings to eat. But must say thriving and doing better."
"We drove 3 hours from Pennsylvania to Dover Delaware just to eat at this restaurant. The food was FANTASTIC! We ordered a little bit of everything. Yumm & Yamm Bomb a** seafood salad Collard greens Fried cabbage Seafood Lover's XXL with Crabby fries Rasta Pasta topped with Salmon Mac & Cheese Cornbread muffins Our only issue was out of everything we ordered the fried cabbage wasn't the best and the cornbread muffins were dry. There was not an eating area just a pick-up window. The food was too GOOD not to eat at a table... WE WILL BE BACK!!!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food!"
