"From Philly looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the Cape May area. (I know, good luck, right?) First experience a month was ok but today, I think I was sent home with left-overs—small bits of overcooked, dry meat which may not have even been chicken. I won’t go back."

"The place offers take-out only, and it's a good thing, because this on night, it was stifling hot while waiting inside the spartan customer area. I had no idea how the workers could bear the heat working in the kitchen. I ordered in person and found the woman employee abrupt, right on the edge of rude. We got standard selections and found them average; nothing special, but average. Also included were a couple of spring rolls and eggrolls. Both were sub-par with mostly wrapper with little filling, and two bucks a shot. I give Golden City a C- with a lot of room for improvement."
"I had been out of state for sometime helping my parents with their Healthcare needs and getting them set up for adtl. services when I had returned to town I wanted food from this place. I called in my order was quoted the price and I was appalled by the doubling of the price. I was told the prices have gone up a little, double the cost is double the cost that far more than "a little". This place stinks and it is by no means worth the cost or aggravation."
"Delicious food and extensive menu selection! Inspired a search for a similar style restaurant up in Connecticut, from which we now order weekly. Golden City is a must try, you'll be pleasantly surprised. This experience was for takeout."
