Papa Johns Pizza

"I typically don't leave reviews, but I was really surprised and disappointed at the change in customer service at this location when it comes to delivery. To be clear the delivery people are fantastic, but the in store customer service clearly has declined, and now leaves something to be desired. Calls are routinely rerouted now to a call center where there is barely a command of the English language. I was attempting to place an order with the call taker that was having difficulty understanding my order. The call taker directed my call to the store and when they picked up I was told that I would need to call the call center back to place the order. I told the individual that the call center was unable to understand me and directed me to the Deptford store for assistance. The rudeness of the Deptford store call taker was appalling. I Asked him what would he suggest if the call center directed me to the store for assistance and the call taker at the Papa John's hung up mid conversation! I have in the past ordered and picked up from this location with no issues. My vehicle is out for repairs so I have been ordering out for the past week. When I attempted to call back selecting the prompt that would connect me directly to the store it rang for 1-2 minutes, someone pick up then hung up. I called back and no pick up at all. Unprofessional and very rude to a patron that has used this location for the time that they have been here in the area. Will never use them again! The condescending attitude was just awful. I wish I could give this Papa John's location 0 Stars because the one that I left was one to many."

"The staff was excellent. I ordered my pizza. Then my friend also wanted a pizza. They made the 2 as quickly as possible with out any quality issues."

"We decided to try Papa John's again since it has been over 5 years or more since we had them. We placed our order online and received a text that food was ready. I went in to get my order and was told it's not ready yet, even though the text said it was ready. The cashier said, it's always a delay?? I ordered pizza, wings and chicken parmesan bites..The pizza is just not the same anymore and doesn't have any taste,,,, kinda tastes like Chucky Cheese pizza! The buffalo wings we ordered had the sauce drizzled over them, not tossed in a bowl so that they are evenly coated..The food was just ok..It will probably be another 5 years or more before we try them again. The staff was very friendly though!"

"I'm not sure what happened to this place. It was such good one a while ago, and suddenly last two times I've ordered, both times they have managed to screwed the pie to the point of no return. If I had lived closer I would've go back and demand and new one. Last two times I've ordered the stuff crust, which it's an ok pizza, the sauce it's nothing but ordinary. I can get a better tasting sauce at Wal-Mart. Sorry, but somehow the quality of their pizza has gone down the hill. Anyway, both times ordering the stuffed crust, the stretched the dough so much it was crazy thin to the point of not being able to hold the slice without everything falling off of it. I basically ate it the first time with a fork, cause it a mess. Next time I ordered was the same thing. But this time was even worse. Lover called and asked for the manager and told him off. I mean, if this is the norm, then fine, I won't order it again, but apparently is not, so how come this happened twice?? Between the extremely thin crust and the bland taste of it, I'm not sure I will order from this place in particular ever again."
