"The old lady the works there is an absolute delight to have doing your hair! But I had originally booked for a "specialty perm" where I was going for a tight spiral look. I have prior bleach in my hair from two years back and when I showed her the picture of what I was going for she said that she could do that! Even after looking at my colored hair. She sat me down and washed my hair, she trimmed my hair and then stated that it would not be the best idea to perm my hair kinky and tight like that then suggested a beach wave. When I had agreed to that she said that actually it might not be the best idea with because my hair would snap and frizz! Feeling disappointed I opted for a blowout, where all she did was blow dry my hair like normal and accentuate my cowlicks. The lady is very sweet and I appreciate her professional opinion but I should've been told as soon as I sat down, I could've washed my hair at home if I wanted to look the same! If you're going in for a perm and have colored hair make sure you she'll be able to do it on your hair before you drop 70 bucks on nothing"

"Don’t go here! It’s such a waste of time. I came in earlier this month to get my hair curled for a wedding, I regret it entirely. The ONLY reason I went here was because my go to salon was too busy that day. This was my first time at Hair Cuttery and definitely my last! First off, I was 10 minutes early for my appointment, and the stylist said I was “very” early, yet I didn’t even get to a chair until 30+ minutes late putting me behind schedule. They took others before myself even though I was on time. Then, the stylist tried to charge me extra for services I didn’t want. I just wanted a style, nothing fancy or cut at all. They wanted to add on hair treatments I didn’t ask for. They changed it to an “up do” when it really wasn’t one (just a simple style) AND charged me and extra $16 because I have long hair. That’s ridiculous. They charged me nearly $100 and I wasn’t even happy with how it turned out. My go to salon would have charged half that and done a better job. The entire time, she made me slouch in my chair hurting my back and neck the whole time because she claimed she was “a little short.” She also walked away from me multiple times to discuss her holiday schedule (I overheard.) She also put so much hair spray in it, it stuck to my skin and felt physically heavy. I even said “Okay, I think that’s enough.” and she didn’t stop even then. It felt heavy and very sticky. I so want my money back, but I know I’ll never see it. This doesn’t even look like a professional job, I could do better myself. I went to the wedding not confident in how I looked. Don’t get disappointed like I did. Go somewhere else."

"I have a long hair. Came for shampoo and blow dry. Usually it'll take an hour to work on my hair. The stylist finished everything in 30 minutes and my hair is no where close to being smooth. I could have done it by myself at home instead of wasting $50. Worst service."

"went in, sat for an hour and she said “we are very early” when we were maybe 30 minutes early. now we are 30 mins later and then i ask for my hair straightened and she goes on and says she doesn’t have time and my hair is “too curly” ."
