"I have taken down a prior review and can no longer recommend this shop at all. After 10 years of being a loyal customer, I will not return. Today, despite making an appointment with Holly, accommodating HER schedule (she pushed me back to 1:30 pm) AND showing up on time at 1:30 pm, I am leaving after 2.5 hours. Oh - and Holly only did 1/2 of the services… she pawned me off on her son for the gel pedicure, because she was tired and it was ‘just too much.’ Her son is a nice kid- but when I make an appt with HOLLY (and I was clearly on her schedule, with no other scheduled appointments), I expect Holly to perform the services. I waited 2 hours for Holly, while she waited on 3 other customers, and before she got around to my dip manicure. There is no excuse. Holly is rude to most customers, and is frequently rude and short with me. I’ve tolerated this too long. No amount of skill or nail craftsmanship is worth being treated poorly…. AND THEN BEING CHARGED for this attitude and behavior. Today, Holly charged more than she’s EVER charged me ($120)... She tried to argue saying ‘this is what you’ve always paid!’ This is incorrect. My bank records show I’ve never been charged this much. Their pricing is NOT transparent. Feel like dealing with nasty behavior from the owner and a ‘who cares?’ attitude from the employees? This is the place for you. Ten years as a loyal and consistent customer… Not going back."

"Pretty disappointed. I had an appointment for a mani pedi prior to an important event. When I got there I was passed off to two different technicians, neither of whom I was supposed to be booked with. I didn’t want to make a fuss so I didn’t say anything, but I regret that now. The technician who did my pedicure was friendly and did a great job. However, the technician who did my manicure didn’t even say hello to me and more importantly she did a very lackluster job with the gel polish. I chose a lighter color and the lighting was dim in there so I think she had difficulty seeing where she was painting. She missed the edges of multiple nails, which unfortunately makes them look sloppily done. I didn’t realize just how messed up they were until I got home, but I was already there for 1.5 hours and I didn’t have time to go back to say something, I had to get on with my day. Just disappointing to spend $80 on this type of work when I could have done a better job at home."

"Amazing service. Kind people. Beautiful nails. My nail technician’s name was Scott and he did an incredible job. He took his time and made sure I was very satisfied with the look. These are my real nails however, one had been chipped and he offered to fix it because I wanted to keep my nail length. He was courteous and always made sure he wasn’t hurting me. He made sure I liked the color and was very personable. All of the other technicians were very nice too and complimented me. You’re in very good hands if you come here!! (Also I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews from a year ago. All I can say is it’s completely different now. It’s clean, the staff is kind, and the quality is great. Don’t let old comments throw you off. I believe it is run by different people now. If it’s not run by different people, they sure got their act together. Either way the more recent reviews are a lot more accurate. If you’re still having second thoughts, request Scott. You’ll always be in good hands with him!)"

"My nail technician, Scott, recently moved to Venus nails from another local salon. I'm so relieved he stayed local because it took me a while to find a technician that is truly talented. Scott is a craftsman, takes his time, listens to my requests, and ensures I'm a happy customer. His ombre' gel technique is absolutely beautiful too. If you don't know what this is, ask. I had many compliments on my nails and curious folks wanting to know where I had them done. Find Scott. You won't be disappointed!"

"Relaxing music with nail attendants who are gentle and courteous. Clean sinks, tables and restrooms this is the place I’ll visit when I’m in the Bethany Beach area. I like the exfoliating scrub and the massage chairs. Not fancy but certainly a good place for nails. It’s near the Giant. My GPS took me up the street."
