"I gave this place a try because my normal nail tech was unavailable. And from the pictures and reviews it looked like they did a pretty decent job. I called prior to coming because I knew that they would be closing within the hour, so I wanted to make sure that they were okay with me still coming. The receptionist that answered the phone was very friendly and assured me that I could still come in. He was welcoming when I got there. The nail techs? Not so much. My main issue is the quality and service. The guy with the mohawk had a horrible attitude from the time I told him what I wanted to get done. He did not greet me, and when I showed him the picture it seemed as though he caught an attitude. I figured maybe he was just exhausted and maybe even a little upset because I came close to the closing time. I really tried not to pay it mind but it was hard not to notice. He drilled my nails and prepped them for my dip as I was getting my pedicure which was fine. While I was getting my pedicure I was asked if I wanted regular polish or gel. I asked for regular polish, and the woman kept trying to pressure me to get the gel after I already said I wanted regular. I asked for my pedicure base color to be bubble bath for my french, but I was told they only had bubble bath in gel. She insisted that I just get a clear coat because that is what the normally use for french, I said fine. After the pedicure was done, you could see that she clearly did not buff the nails enough. So the white spots show through the clear. Although I noticed, I let it slide. I make my way to the manicure area where the guy with the mohawk finishes my dip set. Over all, I was happy with the outcome. I payed the tab and tipped both nail techs. Two days later I’m putting on a latex glove and one of the nails literally breaks in half horizontally. I call them on Tuesday to let them know what happen and I was told I could come in to have it fixed. When I get there, the guy with the mohawk is there with the same attitude he had on Saturday. He didn’t greet me but instead asked me what I did to break the nail. Then he accused me of hitting something hard and proceeded to tell me that’s the only way something like this could have happened. He was rough with the nail and seemed reluctant to fix it. After paying $150 I can absolutely say that it was not worth it. I will tell my family member and friends to avoid this place and I will not be back. If you are going to charge premium prices, the service and quality need to match it."

"Best nail salon in DE! Having moved from Central NJ to DE, I was looking for a ail salon to match the style and quality of services I was used to receiving. After a quick IG search I found my new home - J Nails. Sang does my nails. When I tell you, he gets me and my style! I am a true gaudy Jersey girl and proud of it and J Nails exceeds my expectations. Everyone there does great work. Can’t believe I found this jewel in DE! Go see for yourself."

"So, Today was my first time coming in, and let me tell you.. as soon as I walked through the door I felt at home. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a salon. The whole team working at the time was so sweet and caring. I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the guy who did my nails, but he did such an amazing job. Anyways, This is the set I got ! They turned out beautiful!! I will definitely be returning."

"I've been here three times now, once for a full acrylic set, then for refills. The first two times Tommy was my tech and did an incredible job. He took his time and ensured that each nail was perfect—one of my tips was a bit crooked the first time, he immediately removed it and re-did it without any prompting. Sang did my most recent set (catseye gel polish) and did an incredible job as well. I highly recommend this salon."
