Sophia's Italian Restaurant

"Our first visit to Sophia's gave us a taste of excellent food and drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. Sophia could not have been more welcoming and friendly as were some of the other patrons in the restaurant. The baked eggplant tasted just like mom's recipe....the side of bread was crispy and plentiful. We took home a ribeye cheese steak sub and an Italian cold cut sub....generous portions of steak and sliced Italian cold cuts...fresh rolls and fresh toppings helped to make these subs great. We are looking forward to our next visit to Sophia's!"

"Our first visit today! We had an excellent Greek salad followed by deliscious chicken alfredo and veal parm. We were even lucky enough to meet Sophia, who took great care of us! We will return!"

"Great food, friendly and attentive staff. We came to Ocean City super late on a Thursday and just wanted to watch some football at a bar. Everywhere was absolutely packed and we began to get hangry. We found Sophia’s and were nervous because there weren’t many people but quickly were put at ease with the good food and super nice staff. We ended up watching baseball and getting wings, cheesy bread, and pizza. All great! It became apparent they are a big takeout place but don’t count them out for dine in. We would definitely come back for a casual vibe and good Italian."

"We had a great experience at Sophia’s. The restaurant is open and has a good ambiance. All of the food we had was great. The calamari was perfect and the bread was so good. I got the shrimp Alfredo and it was a big portion and the sauce was really good and authentic. You can tell the pasta is homemade as well. I would highly recommend!"

"I'm always looking for new restaurants in Ocean City. I'd been meaning to visit this one because the food smells so good when you walk by in the Mall. I finally went there on a weekday thinking that it would be pretty empty. It wasn't. Apparently people are finding out about this place. I got lasagna my wife got a calzone. Both were very good and had really large portions. The restaurant was comfortable and waiters were nice. All in all I will be going back again. From looking at the pizza being delivered to other tables, that's what I'll get next time because it looked fantastic. I'll probably pair it with one of their salads which also looked very good. The only issue I had was with the beer which was about 5 degrees to warm. I love beer at 33 degrees. Anyway, I can't wait until the season is over in Ocean City because I'll going to add Sophia's as one of my go to places."
