"Had no problems with buying furries from there, however when buying fish (both freshwater and saltwater) they always wanted to beat around the bush when it came to refunds. When it came to saltwater fish that I purchased from there, they didn't even want to test the water and stated that refunds on saltwater fish are not guaranteed. Selling sick fish shouldnt be allowed.I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet for that. They definitely lost a repetitive customer."

"Bought a $150 bunny from the store, I also paid a extra $20 for there extended live guarantee. I have kept bunny's for years, it didn't last two weeks. After calling them I was informed the guarantee for 72 hours only. My fault for not asking but I would avoid this place moving forward, I should of taken the lack of cleanliness and smell as sign."

"Got my daughter her very first pet. It's a super friendly bird we named Jesus (Spanish pronunciation). He is the perfect cuddling buddy. They keep each other entertained all day. He came already trained and loves to sit on our shoulders. You can tell he was well taking care of at Value Pet Center."

"This place is a little crowded and dark, but the service is good. They have a good selection of freshwater fish, and the prices are not outrageous. I bought 5 guppies for my 75 gallon tank. The guy helping me asked questions about my tank, what types of fish I already had, and made suggestions. This is something I usually don't get from employees at the large pet stores. I love the colorful fish that I got from there! I'll definitely be going back for more of my fishtank needs."
