"I went to this location several times and every time I go to pick up my medication I’m given an issue. Walgreens makes me pay for my medicine $28 when I have Medicaid. When I go to Walmart to pick up my prescription I have no issues nor am I told my medication isn’t covered by Medicaid."
"The 5 star reviews are obviously fake, just like what we see in the real estate / property management businesses. The Elkton Walgreens is a 2.5 star operation at best. I just wanted to put in a good word for the young lady that understood "90 pills" and "90 day supply" are not the same thing. Most pharmacy employees do not understand this concept. Kudos to her!"
"Just want to update. After another 30 mins on hold I finally reached a really nice person. She helped me quickly even when checking stock. She came immediately back and took care of everything. Thank goodness I reached her. Not sure what’s going on over there. Maybe understaffed. Walgreens has to get it together and if they are understaffed they need to take care of their employees so people will want to work there. This location is turning into a nightmare. It’s impossible to get help over the phone. I was on hold for 30 mins waiting and as soon as it turned 1:30 they disconnected my call for lunch. Called back again today, another 35 mins on hold. Someone finally comes on and after I explain I’m told “hold on I’ll see if I can find someone to help you”. After another 5 to 10 mins on hold the phone starts ringing forever until it disconnects me. Called back again, been 15 mins so far, still on hold, still more then 3 callers ahead of me. I’ll easily be on hold another 40 mins to an hour IF they start answering calls. You need to dedicate like a whole day to track these people down to get any sort of help. I’m disabled, I can’t just run there every time I need to handle something because they won’t help customers over the phone. I don’t mind waiting but this is ridiculous. Horrible location and service."
"The absolute worst pharmacy that I have ever been to. The store itself is clean and they seem to be stocked. But as far as the pharmacy, I am changing it because they are the absolute worst. if you ever have a prescription sent there, god help you. I would give it 0 stars if possible."
"What a great team. I’m passing through the area and staying just a week. Every time I call by this Walgreen store I can be sure of a warm welcome and helpful staff. They have a good range of products, all reasonably priced."
