Hampton Inn Middletown

"Stayed in this hotel back in September when I was on a work trip. I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel first of all. We got woken up at 1 am to a man pounding on the doors in the hall trying to get in rooms. He was screaming and yelling at someone in a room next to us. I immediately called down to the front desk to have someone come up and the young girl Advised she would have it taken care of. 15 minutes go by and this guy is still yelling and pounding stuff in the room next to us. ( we actually thought he was hurting someone). I call back down to the front desk and they said nothing they could do…. Meanwhile were in our room terrified that this man is hurting someone. We called the cops( now is 2:30AM). The Cops show up to get our statement and get this guy under control. Now showing our faces to this man I am even more mortified that the police are identififying us as the callers…. Not being advised if he is being taken away or not or for our saftey switch rooms… The very next morning we ran out of this hotel without breakfast and constantly looking over our shoulder. The manager on duty “sunshine” advised us that they have ZERO SECURITY PROTOCOLS for stuff like this….no cameras In the hallways. I highly recommend you stay away from this hotel with kids! The guy ended up being a drug addict. As soon as we walked out of the hotel thinking it was safe. I'm in my truck and the “guy “ is at my window trying to talk to me!!!!! Hilton’s response to this is “ Not our problem “ I got a refund but an apology or an email stating that they will take more action for better security protocols would have been better. Therefore, I will never again stay at a Hilton in. They're moto is “ when you want to feel cared for where ever you go, where you stay matters” they do not take it very seriously nor care for they're guests at this hotel."

"This was the 2nd time we've stayed here. Very convenient location. Easy to see from the road although it sits back a bit. The rooms are spacious and clean. No noise problems. Breakfast available in the lobby until 10 AM. Lots of great food and adult beverage options available nearby."

"We generally choose a hotel based on price and proximity to the location we are visiting. Hampton Inn had the best price and included breakfast in the area. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. All of the features worked as expected, TV was large and easy to use. The bathroom was also spotless and well appointed. Breakfast is served 6-10am. Lots to pick from and the person refilling the items was super nice and did a great job. Again, everything was clean and well laid out. Leave him/her a tip if you can, they deserve it. Just hand it to them, they may miss it if left on the table. The front desk staff were also polite and welcoming to us. This is my second time staying here, I would return again."

"Honestly the best service we've gotten in a long time, from the moment we walked in. All the staff were nice and helpful. The indoor pool and hottub were nice. The room was clean. Gym small but allowed for efficiency with cardio machines, free weights, towels and water refill station. Breakfast options stayed stocked up until breakfast ended. No microwaves in rooms but there was one downstairs in pantry area for guests. The air/heat blows hard and loud in the room, but we got used to it after a while. Con: The walls are thin I guess. Another guest banged loudly on our door to ask us to keep the noise down but we just on the bed talking about a TV show my wife and I were watching. No kids in the room or loud music and the TV was only on level 30 out of 100."

"Great Hampton Inn. I would stay here every time. Donna at the front desk was polite, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean, rooms updated. Cute extras like little hipster mustache paper cups in the room and a paper bag breakfast to-go upon check out with a bagel, water & apple (we always miss breakfast). Loved the new design of the bathroom, especially the shelf spanning the entire vanity. Sliding barn doors, beds facing the window and a bright red velvet arm chair. Room was quiet and the a/c worked well."
