"Inflated ratings. I bought this pizza because of the reviews and it does not live up to the hype. This is 2 star pizza. Grub hub has them as a 4.9 a have no idea how. I asked for well done crust I got soft and doughy. Barely any cheese on each bite like this pizza actually hurt my feelings how disappointing it was. The bottom taste like straight Pam and I really just feel like I was lied too fr. Won’t be coming back"

"As a child I ate there every Friday night. Now 25 years later, I have moved to South Carolina. When I come up and visit my parents I always stop in for the best pizza in New Jersey and South Carolina( all pizza is bad in SC). Great group of guys and keep it going. If only I could get Big Johns in SC they would kill it there. Myrtle Beach needs great pizza like Big John! By far the best!!!!! Hands down."

"I'm a pizza snob, no two ways about it. First time my buddy told me I had to get a pizza from there, I looked up a picture and laughed and said "Really? Come on.. this looks awful" But sure enough, once I tried it... Yep. My buddy was right. I've never had anything like this place before. The sauce is definitely the star or the show.. a very unique flavor and delicious. Guess you can't always judge a book by its cover. Crave it constantly now. Wish I lived closer."
