"Before bringing my children to this office, I called ahead of time to make sure they still took my insurance. They reassured me and stated that they still accept my insurance with “partial payment”… I understood this to mean the deductible and/or possibly a 20% copay. Well to my surprise, after a cleaning for my 4 yr old and an introductory visit for my 2 yr old, I got slammed with a $300 bill on the way out of the door. Since my older child had a cavity they wanted me to come back for two separate visits, which would cost $700! I brought them to another reputable dentist who filled the cavity in one visit for less than half of the cost. Just be aware that the office is not forthcoming with insurance coverage information. I spoke with Dr. Ehrenman afterwards as I felt as if they were not fully transparent. He was unapologetic, he defended his office staff and advised that if I couldn’t afford it I could pay it in increments. That wasn’t the point though. I told him that his staff should be more clear and forthcoming with respect to insurance coverage. Very upsetting. I just hope this review helps other hard working families."
