"So many of the good doctors are leaving since Optum took over. They clearly value profit over patients and leave many of those with a strong ethical and moral responsibility to treat their patients with the best care in an adequate amount of time no choice but to go elsewhere. I’ve lost 3 great docs in this manner and will no longer be using Optum at all. I know quite a few others who feel the same. I’ve heard they even restrict these doctors who leave from setting up a practice in the vicinity so they are leaving even though it may mean uprooting their families. In addition, I Could not get a physical for over 18 months, could not get a well visit within 2 weeks, the portal didn’t have our updated medical info.. it goes on and on. They seem to be a sinking ship and I do not want them having any responsibility over such an important part of my family’s life, especially as one of my family members has a very serious medical condition. Best wishes to those hardworking and caring employees who left as well as those who need to stay. I truly hope things improve there and that Optum is either forced to sell or has some drastic changes in its management."

"Whoever manages the TELEPHONE department needs to be fired immediately. Absolute horror show of a department. They don’t call back. They don’t refill prescriptions when they say they will. They don’t answer the phone. It’s absolutely horrible for a HEALTHCARE FACILITY. The incompetence level of this department is top tier. I’m not sure if it is upper management or if it is the workers who work the phones, but the whole department needs to be thrown away, revamped, rehired, and needs someone new in charge who cares and knows how to properly and professionally manage a call center."

"Since Optum took over CareMount I cannot get an appt with my kids pediatrician. You cannot call the office directly. My kids Doctor never has an available appointment on line, which is very strange. When you call now after 20 min average wait time you get a random nurse who doesn’t know you or your kids. Ever time I call my doctor had no available appointments. They are always trying to give me another Doctor. Makes you think they are giving patients to the doctors they want you to see. There is no more personal care with this health group, you’re just a dollar sign. If it wasn’t for the fact we love our Pediatrician, I would not use this group at all."

"The doctors & nurses are amazing. The automated phone system, front office and people that answer the phones are horrible. Actually, I would like to give the doctors & nurses five stars, and the office staff negative 4 stars, which is why I landed at 1 star overall There is ZERO customer service in an industry that should actually be ALL customer service, since Optum is dealing with sick people who need help. Hold times on calls are over 20 minutes each time - and you can never get to an actual person, let alone the right person. Today the receptionist actually claimed that she couldn’t contact another Optum location down the road because “She has no ability to do that.” Haven’t they ever heard of a phone list of extensions? It’s a shame too, because the company is making their amazing doctors & nurses look bad."

"Good location with clean facilities. Seemed like issues with some desk staff not coming to work on time but medical staff was top notch once you finally get to see them. Located very close to interstate 84 and off 312. Lots of parking. Clean bathrooms. Stairs available to avoid elevators if trying to avoid closed spaces with potentially sick people."
